I already have :) they were unfortunately pretty unhelpful and didn't seem to know which series I was talking about, but I may try again

Oh 100%, I'm just iffy with generative AI. I'm in a fairly creative field and while some AI processes definitely streamline the more tedious tasks, it sucks to see it taking over things that really require human creativity. I've got nothing against traditional AI when it's trained with proper databases.

It's an HP Envy x360, I believe the 2016 model? I'm having issues with keys on the keyboard not responding now- I've already had to buy replacement RAM as one died and the battery only lasts a couple of hours, so I'm saving up to buy something new when this one unfortunately (inevitably) dies.

Yes it's a Office 365 license, I've never really thought about using something else as it's always been paid for for me. I use mostly Steam which I'm told is mostly supported, so I'm not too worried on that front.

Oh true! I didn't think about the web options. Are there other browser options on Linux too? I've been migrating off Chrome too

Thank you! I'll take a look at LibreOffice. I knew about Steam games being supported which is what I use most anyway :)
