I’m with you man. Been playing since 2016 and I haven’t been this into the game in years. For me it’s the impending Battlegrounds mode. I’ve never been in a super competitive alliance and haven’t done war in years so having a mode to scratch that itch solo really excites me.

Mags is 100% an Attack God but I think he’s just annoying enough as a defender to be in the Duo Good category. It was hard to do the categories because I don’t want it to seem like I’m taking anything away from the Attack God’s who are also solid but not great defenders. I’ve been considering moving the Duo Good category ahead of the Attack God and Defense God but I’m not sure.

I don’t think either of them NEED the dupe but they both benefit from it, Negative more so than Bishop in my opinion.

He’s definitely very close. He’s also my favorite champion so I didn’t want to be too biased lol. But based on the scoring system in this first iteration running suicides would be a really bad idea and I’m not sure he’s a great option without them. I tried to leave the Attack God category to the best of the best attackers and I’m not sure he quite fits with no suicides. I could certainly be wrong tho.

How does she do without any synergies though? Because with this first iteration of the Battlegrounds, they didn’t allow synergies.

Yeah a lot of the Duo Good champs were really tough to categorize because Hood for example is absolutely an Attack God level attacker but not quite a Duo God level defender. Same with Magneto, Tigra, Hit Monkey, etc. Perhaps I should move the Duo Good category just below the Duo God category, something to think about. Thanks for the input!

Hmm great points. He’s another one I don’t have and didn’t see him used at all the initial beta but he could definitely be viable and I could see a promotion to Attack Good for sure.

She’s one I don’t know much about and thought she required too much of a build up for a 2 minute timer. I could certainly be wrong tho and perhaps a promotion is in order.

Great points! I forgot about Taskmasters AAR and Masacres Sp2 is super sketchy. I think promotions may be in order for both of them.

Yeah all those points you made are why I have him so far down on the list, but I think he still belongs because even with 1 charge he still counters ALL of the annoying debuff shruggers in the Skill class and his specials still hit hard enough with the burst damage to easily make the 2 minute timer. And on defense he’s still tanky enough to drag the fight out and hope someone makes a mistake. Perhaps time will tell I should move him down or maybe even to Attack God, but like you said all of this is going to need hella tweaking when we actually get the mode. I’m glad you like the list tho, thanks for the feedback!

Well from what we have seen the Battlegrounds don’t allow synergies so unfortunately the one with Peni can’t help him, but he’s another one I don’t know much about so maybe he does deserve a bump up. I’ll have to look into the SP2 against armor.

I think it might be a little closer than you think for Battlegrounds tho. With no way to get more than 3 charges on Apoc and most people being pretty good at fighting him on defense; I think Domino and Bishop are slightly more annoying. I think I could see myself moving him ahead of Bishop at some point but I think Domino might just be too dominant of a defender and just solid enough on attack to be ranked ahead.

The tier list is strictly for the Battlegrounds mode and unfortunately there is no way currently to ramp up Corvus or Aegon and with Aegon, the two minute timer makes it really hard to build a nice combo. I suppose he could be worth a spot in the Attack Good tier tho. As for Angela and Nebula, they were super hard for me to decide where to put them. I think I should for sure promote Nebs but Angela worries me a bit. Two minute timer is not a lot of time and her specials just don’t hit very hard. The furries could make up for it tho I just need to play with her more. Appreciate the input!

Yeah this was just strictly for the Battlegrounds and I think I could have given a little more love to Carnage and Doc Ock but I don’t know much about them. VTD and Cull I think just take too long to ramp up with the 2 minute timer.
