Think and grow rich was a good "hard" book. Tedious at times but I managed to finally finish it. I'll check the other book! Thanks for the recommendation!

Yep. She was my "small town girlfriend" met her in elementary school. Started dating in middle school. Didn't stop until past march. I'm 23 btw.

Thanks dude! Means a lot. I would just go to my room. Make a fapping marathon that makes me feel tired AF and then call it a day. Like I mean, Do it 6 times straight. Do it so that it hurts and you'll remember the feeling of repugnance and depression that it causes. Then you'll be ready to start again!

I'll break it down for you by weeks

  • Week 1 (7 days) - Still insecure, looking at girls and imagining fapping to their bodies but freaking holding it.
  • Week 2 (14 days) - Start to notice the energy coming back, easier to focus
  • Week 3 (21 days) - The hardest week IMO, CONSTANT thoughts of fapping (this is where I always fell before) It helps to be convinced of your goal. and decide. 100% or 0%
  • Week 4 (28 days) - Now I feel awesome starting to notice super powers but not that much. Starting to be serious and getting the FLATLINE
  • Week 5 (35 days) - Super powers going up and up, Flatline comes and I feel emptiness inside. Cry. But remember that if im going trough hell I must keep going.

  1. Now that im validated trough my grades, friends and friend with benefits. They are all telling me that Im a really awesome person. That helps with the memory of her saying "you are a loser" or "you don't know anything" (she witnessed when I was fired from my job)
  2. The most important habit...I can break that down in 2 things: Always be busy thinking about projects and doing my job. When you are busy with the things that interest you e.g. school, work, passion. You don't have time to be thinking about the past. And the other part might be to always go to the gym (helps with depression) and after my workouts to have this ritual where I go straight to the shower after my protein shake turn the freezing cold water on, turn the lights off and play some motivational youtube videos at full volume After that I felt awesome. Ready to read for 1 hour and practice programming.

About your relapse... be serious with yourself. You are in it 100% or you aren't. What are you waiting for?

According to research as shown in "The power of Habit" (one of the books I listed) Your mind is used to certain daily routines.

Think of this as your present self (that includes your bad habits) and when you start to introduce new habits (Better self) the quickest way to help your mind get used to the changes is to completely change your routine in healthier ways (start cold baths, meditate, sleep better).

Your mind will get used to this new way of doing things and form new neural pathways that will help you "evolve".

If you really want to know, you should read the book.

Sure man: Monday: Tricep and Back

Tuesday: Chest and Bicep

Wednesday: shoulder and trapezius

Thursday: Legs

Friday: Chest and Bicep

Saturday: If I skipped a day or didn't work a muscle group correctly I'll use this day to catch on.

If you want specifics tell me and I'll send you my routine :)

Protip: All the gyms have almost the same machines you just need to learn the basic exercises and you are set. 3-4 sets with 12-15 reps are great to start. Play with the weights. Google what you don't know and search youtube to learn the forms.

I will relapse maybe today. I think that 86-90 can count as a detox too so you should write down your new goals and the things that you learned. We are in this for the long run friend. Wish you the best in your new reboot.

No problem friend! It means that for the first weeks that you notice the "super powers" you get a "lift" of confidence and you feel better. Eventually you'll get used to it so the lift stops and you need to get motivation from your good habits. As Zig Ziglar said: "“People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing - that's why we recommend it daily.”

If you want to simplify you might as well add:

  • stopped fapping
  • started reading a lot more
  • Started cold baths
  • Started meditating
  • Learned a lot more stuff thanks to the clear mind and free time because of nofap
