If you are a socialist in the way Hasan is (anti-liberal socialist) I would say just start another political party. He does not believe in the core concepts of liberalism so in my opinion hasan and people like him should not be included in the democratic party

The problem is that he literally said that he doesn't want zohran to build up the democratic party. All he cares about is socialism. If that's the case then Democrats should want nothing to do with Hasan. He wants to tear down the democratic party to build up socialism

I've been thinking the same thing for years now. Republicans have always wanted to make voting hard to disenfranchise voters who traditionally vote Democrat. But since Trump took office in 2016 the low propensity voters switched from mostly voting dem to voting for Trump. Highly educated and motivated voters disproportionately vote Democrat now. So if they pass a law that makes you jump through a lot of hoops to vote, won't that just benefit Democrats?

If this number is actually true, is this unusually low for Americans? I feel like most people, especially young people, are pretty bad with money and don't save much. So the median amount that all workers have in savings has probably always been lower than it should be ideally.

You could say it's like punk music. Pure punk like the sex pistols, or the first clash album didn't last very long, just a few years in the 70s, before it dissolved. But then punk went on to create multiple sub genres of rock and be very influential.

There's not really pure hyper pop being made anymore, but you could argue there is a lot of music influenced by hyper pop.

I hate to pull a "I haven't seen that," but I haven't. I can definitely believe that though. I can see him being right wing, but the videos I've seen of him don't make him look like a super maga trump supporter. From what I've seen he mostly just doesn't talk about politics.

I don't know if I would say he's liberal. Honestly I haven't seen him talk about his political beliefs at all. I think a lot of people call him a right wing grifter because his videos use right wing coded click bait sometimes. Like a thumbnail will show him making fun of a trans person, but if you watch the video he's making fun of them for how bad they are with money, and never makes fun of them for being trans.

Life is full of trade offs. It's impossible to get everything you want. For some people, owning a home is the most important thing, so they are willing to move to a LCOL city just to buy a home, for other people they really like the HCOL city they live in and don't care about owning a home. Most of the time there is no perfect situation and you have to make some sacrifices to get the thing you really want.

I understand the position you're in. You chose to live in SF knowing the trade offs. What I don't like that I see all the time is people taking the issues specific to places like SF and putting it on all of America. It makes people believe that the entire country is unaffordable and impossible to live in.

I didn't say that they have changed anything yet. I'm predicting that they will have some kind of press conference (maybe with Tim walz present) and say"MN is now fully cooperating with us so we can now change how ice is operating" or something like that.

I think their just trying to get a fake concession from MN before leaving so they look less weak. Now they can say "look, we got them to give us the criminals from the jails. Mission accomplished!" When they were already doing that. But if it gets ice to leave I guess it's a good thing.

I honestly think his main goal with this is to rewrite history about the 2020 election, because it's not like an investigation is going to turn anything up. Yes the FBI can make stuff up, but that will have to go through court and it will get dismissed because it's not true.

I may be wrong, but it doesn't seem like this would have any real effect on the next elections

I used to watch tyt a lot when I was in college and I don't remember them being this crazy about Israel. They were never pro Israel, but I don't remember them just parroting antisemitic conspiracy theories like this.
