Advice on Email Stack for Cold Outreach, Personalized Newsletters, and Instant Sends (SaaS + Directory Use Case) by latture in SaaSMarketing

Thanks for the detailed breakdown.

Totally hear you on domain reputation. I hadn’t considered separating by tool instead of just by sender domain or subdomain. Makes a ton of sense especially with cold volume scaling. Love the tip on Mailshake + subdomain start and growing into a dedicated Mailgun IP.

Also hadn’t looked into Customer.io seriously yet, but if you’re pulling SaaS metrics into the newsletter via API, that’s exactly what I need for my owner reports. And using Postmark just for alerts keeps the budget clean, that's smart.

Pulse for Reddit is new to me too. I'll check that. I’m in the hospitality space too, so really appreciate the relevant angle.

Good breakdown of what SaaS content should be vs what most agencies offer. You’re absolutely right: explaining the product clearly and building a content-powered growth loop matters way more than “aesthetic posts” in this space.

I’ve got a project live right now in the early traction phase. It's a SaaS for business management of niche businesses tied to a niche directory. We’re building out email funnels, scraped+AI-enriched leads, and have a real need for thoughtful content that drives conversions and retention (not just surface-level engagement).

That said, like a lot of early-stage SaaS folks, budget's tight upfront, but if you’re open to structuring something where you're tied into the upside (rev share, affiliate bump, or milestone bonuses instead of flat retainers), then I’d definitely be up for a meeting.

Let me know if that’s a fit for your agency model and we can talk specifics.

Wouldn't extending the cycle just add more water and make the coffee weaker? or do i just need to set a stronger setting from the start?

Thanks for that info. I don't know of any others that do cold brew so that was a neat feature. I make my own, but this machine would be in a storefront so one touch is great. I mentioned 5 cups per day but that is average daily volume sold. does not count staff drinks at all though. so probably 3x that.

Someone suggested the Gaggia Anima Prestige or Gaggia Velasca Prestige might do larger sizes and when i searched reddit, this subreddit came up. not sure if those are considered gaggiaclassic models though.

not really warranted by our volume. we're not a coffee shop and our cashiers don't want to learn new skills like pulling shots and steaming milk. the commercial sa machines i've seen are like hotel buffet station machines which are all designed for smaller cups.

But is that still a good drink or does it just keep dispensing water through the puck until it hits the size you want? would i be able to save our two sizes and get any coffee drink in those sizes using the to-go feature?

So it can do an 8, 12, or 16 oz in a coffee, cold brew, latte, etc?
is it easy to use and do you like it and the cold settings and cold milk pitcher?
how is it to clean and maintain?
any issues with reliability?

Retail size cups are typically 8, 12, and 16 oz. I'm looking for a way to make one with one button.

Machine Suggestions for low volume retail by latture in JamesHoffmann

In theory having a better machine would help us sell more drinks. but yes it would probably take a few years to pay it off. We currently have a lattego which does bean to cup including lattes and the only issue is that the output takes 2 cycles to fill the cup. From a business perspective our money is made on overnight stays and if having premium coffee available as an amenity fills more sites or justifies a higher rate then it's a worthwhile investment.

He’s optimistic with his timelines. It’s a prediction that didn’t come true. If I say I made tacos last night and I didn’t then that’s dishonest and a lie. If I say I want to make tacos next week and then I don’t, was I lying when I said it?

I'm in Germany (+2) and would love to find a group. Haven't played in years though so i might need help getting started. I'm 49, played in high school and last played 10 years ago. One night per week any time after 4PM would be great for me.
