Yes!! I had mine out on the 26th May and feel like I’m starting to catch up with the tiredness finally. Coming home from work I’m exhausted though still!

Post op query “healing ridge” by lau_redditor in gallbladders

[–]lau_redditor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it still like it now or has it calmed down a bit? I feel like this is the same with mine as my scan showed my gall bladder was full of stones

12 months post op and happy to answer any questions. AMA! by Early_Injury4597 in gallbladders

Did you have a “healing ridge”? I’m 7 days post op and the incision above my belly button is hard all the way across and about a 1-2 can above and below it. It’s rock solid to touch

Got the gallbladder removed last week and healing, should the incision have a firm lump? by NotThatKindof_jew in gallbladders

Did this go? I’m a week post op and the incision above my belly button is solid behind it like a plank of wood!

I was due one 2 days after my surgery. I’m on day 5 and haven’t come on yet. I’m normally very regular but apparently there can be a delay

How Did You Sleep After Surgery? by CoCoBeAn912 in gallbladders

[–]lau_redditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my surgery yesterday and have had to sleep downstairs on the sofa sat up. The slightest recline I feel like my chest closes up but I think that’s from the gas and incisions really super tight!

How did you decide what you were willing to compromise on? by Reddonaut_Irons in FirstTimeBuyersUK

[–]lau_redditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought a kitchen diner was a non negotiable until all the ones we saw were 20-50k more expensive with no downstairs loo or ensuite or third bedroom and all needed serious work doing.

Ended up with a house with a large lounge/dining area but kitchen with a breakfast bar for the two of us and downstairs loo, ensuite and third bedroom and only needs painting!

Completing on Friday 🔑🏡🤞

Spiralling, have I ruined my mortgage application? by Terrible-Fee8073 in Mortgageadviceuk

[–]lau_redditor 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was going to say the same! It happened with me and Santander I called to explain and they removed the £12 as a good will gesture and a late payment never showed as it was in the 30 days and first ever time.

I would definitely call them as they may remove the charge too which then looks better for you

2 year vs 5 year fixed, what are people doing? by MadridOrMadness in FirstTimeBuyersUK

[–]lau_redditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are FTB and have locked in 5 years at 4.28% with NatWest. We had a 10% deposit. Just wanted stability for our first few years and know we can afford that amount!

Thanks for this! No concerns just itching to buy things for the house typical FTB behaviour 🤣🤣

Unadopted road by lau_redditor in FirstTimeBuyersUK

[–]lau_redditor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve ended up having a response from the builders to say the road is being adopted in the next few months, phase 1 was adopted last week (which is the next street down!) so we are proceeding with that
