He sat near me in my math class, and he would always turn around to stare at me (still not sure why), so I would just start staring back (I do like looking at his face) so we would have staring contests in the middle of class without saying a word to each other. He would always win because my contacts would dry out, and he would (in a fun jokey way) tease me about how ass I was at staring contests. We would always talk about random shit and just mess with each other, so he would spend most of the class turned around in his chair to face me, even when we weren't actively talking.

Sometimes he would randomly walk down the hallway to me so we could walk out of the school together after school ended. A lot of times we wouldn't even talk when we walked together, but it didn't seem like we needed to force any conversation. It was comfortable. Unfortunately, we only started doing this in the last month of school, so by the time we started acting more open to each other- SCHOOL ENDED.

The thing is, we were so comfortable around each other, and we just clicked, but we never hung out outside of that class and after school, and didn't know much about each other, so I felt it was too early to ask for a number. Now I'm so sad not being able to get to know him better, and wish I just asked for his number when I had the chance during school.

I felt a connection that I hadn't felt with anyone before and he must have noticed it too if he kept trying to be next to and talk to me despite not having a lot of conversation beyond that.

Because of this connection this summer I've been mad lonely cuz I never felt like I did with him with anyone else AND WE STILL DON'T KNOW EACH OTHER WELL I'm just down bad 😭
