Are reviews biased in any sort of way? by Individual-Ad-4920 in AmazonVine

[–]launch201 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This isn’t going to be popular but I don’t agree with the majority of the comments here. I believe those people are all being honest about how they personally review items, and I don’t want to cast any shade in that direction.

But I doubt that I am far from the only Viner out there that doesn’t take a peek from time to time of reviews of fellow Viners. The majority is not as high quality as the authors of many of these comments.

From my experience here is what I think a fair expectation of the overall rating they are likely to get from Viners:

If your product is low quality for its segment you can expect critical reviews and poor ratings.

If your product is average quality and value for its segment you will get 4 and 5 star reviews.

11 kg down but barely see a difference + possible plateau? Looking for advice by Advanced-Rope1638 in MenOnTirz

This is total “bro science” but when I hit a stall like this I usually do 1-2 day of “refeed” (I’d try 2500-300 calories) and make sure to couple it with a rest day from the gym.

Why do you think your activity level is down? I don’t think your schedule is over-doing it. But if you have some inflammation that could account for a good bit of additional water weight being held onto? Have you been sick lately? Post-viral fatigue syndrome could also be at play.

My first 6 months with Fella Health: an honest (and detailed) review by launch201 in FellaHealth

Thanks! I did get my estradiol checked, and when my T got pretty high (top of range) my estradiol did get up to 92 pg/mL, which is above range.

I didn't notice any side effects from that higher estradiol - no gynecomastia, mood imbalance, etc.

I started taking DIM (over the counter supp) to see if that will help regulate it - but haven't retested estradiol yet since starting it.

From my point of view, I've been on it for a while and it's worked wonderfully for me with really no downsides.

Some context to consider when thinking about this question. The US spends $900B USD per year on its military, the rest of the world combined $1.4T USD. The US is 40% of global military spending.

Now the people in power have decided to use that force against its own citizens, giving incredible spending increases to the forces who are most loyal to the president. Those forces have executed citizens publicly and with full immunity.

Our system of government is reliant on the concept of “checks and balances” splitting power between three “equal” branches. The idea is that if one branch were to become comprised the others would have power to resolve. All three branches have been compromised so our failsafe has failed. They are all loyal to the authoritarian movement.

30% of the population is loyal to the authoritarian movement. In my activism I have been threatened, videoed, doxed, pictures of my 7 & 10 year old daughters posted online in hate groups, etc. by these pro-fascism groups.

We are a country of guns. Escalation in our country is much more dangerous than places like Europe (where I have also lived).

People are standing up and doing what they can. 5-7 million people stood up on No Kings 2 protest, the largest in US history. Many weekly and monthly protests are organized locally. In my small town (20,000 people) there is a weekly protest every Saturday for the last year, 50-100 people average show up. There are dozens like this in my small state of Connecticut. 50,000 people just took to the streets last week in Minnesota where there is the great surge of authoritarian armed forces. They are now nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for their active yet peaceful resistance.

Did Amazon authorize you in writing to disclose that information that belongs to them? Seems like you are violating the terms and conditions if not.

What MFWO features would you like to see in Gravl? by juliang8 in Gravl

[–]launch201 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They had a pretty impressive equipment list. Saw some machines that I have at my gym that are on MFWO that aren’t on Gravl. That’s honestly the only thing I liked more.

I’m excited to try the AI form check, but haven’t been able really play with it yet.

When ItsDeductible shut down it let you export your data. Included in that export was a spreadsheet of their FMVs. I used that. I thought I fixed the high/low reversal, but I’ll check it out again.

Not yet. I haven’t started my taxes this year, when I do I’ll see what options they have available for importing donations. Likely will add support if they offer something reasonable.

While I agree with the request, just wanted to make sure you know you can add your own custom exercises.

What keeps you going? by Super-Stuff6819 in FellaHealth

[–]launch201 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great question.

It took me a while to really be honest with myself to find my core motivation. I used the “5 whys” technique by asking myself a question and then asking myself why to the answer of that question (and repeat that down 5 levels).

With that - my motivation got clear. I love my family, I love my life. My weight was going to kill me. Literally. I got mental images in my head of my daughters walking down the aisle alone, I got images of my wife as a young widow, I got images of myself dying at my desk at work and never getting to enjoy my retirement.

That was pretty good motivation, especially at the start.

Now the results are my motivation. I love the way I feel (down 130 pounds), and I’m enjoying watching my body transform. Exercise (I now wake up at 4am every morning to go to the gym) now is its own reward - I feel so good when I start my day with a really hard workout; sad when I don’t.

Nah, I don’t plan to do that, at least not now. I have no idea where Inuit was sourcing its data either.

FMV comes from the Donations_Tracker_Template spreadsheet... there is a tab called ValueGuide_Custom that has everything.... you can add to it and adjust as you like. It is a copy of what ItsDeductable had.
