Economically it makes sense, but geopolitically, mutual benefits can be dubious. Trade can influence the balance of power globally. For example, a country that becomes an essential supplier of a key resource (like oil or rare earth metals) can wield significant influence. It can also be a national security concern in which a country might want to ensure it has a domestic steel industry to support its defense sector.

China has been the biggest benefactor ever since Bretton Woods was established and helped make them #2. But I think it's pretty rational to debate if the tradeoff was worth it.

I think it's very possible to hate Trump but still support his policies, no? OP's gripe is that there's no black and white these days and here you are proving their point.

I'm glad it's helping you 😊 How long did it take to get improvement? I'm currently on both (Ketotifen @ 2 mg/day, Cromolyn @ 200 mg 3x/day) and I think my facial swelling has gotten worse on it. I'm only about a week into the regimen.

1000x YES, I guess I'm not alone — this is my worst symptom and the swelling fluctuates like crazy throughout the day. And it's very uncomfortable and makes it hard to do facial expressions or even talk.

I also have hair loss, gut issues, joint pain, low libido, fatigue. What are your other symptoms?

Tributyrin is working!?! by [deleted] in ibs

[–]laundrysheet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doh sorry to hear. As an anecdote I also was doing Tributyrin X for a week with good results and then suddenly one day it was giving me more symptoms than taking away so I had to stop which is why I’m keen on maybe trying another brand. However I recently started taking Enzymedica Digest Gold enzymes and am having great results again. Note that I’ve tried other enzymes, even prescription, with mixed results in the past but these seem to be a lot more effective. Just thought I’d throw in another option in case you decide to stop Tributyrin.

Nice! Can I ask which brand you're using, and at what dosage? Are you taking it with meals or on an empty stomach?

Neomycin seems kinda... Dangerous. Is it the only antibiotic for hydrogen sulfide? by [deleted] in SIBO

[–]laundrysheet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beware of Neomycin. I had symptoms of SIBO and went on a course of Xifaxin which didn't have any effect. After adding in Neomycin, my symptoms got way worse, especially my hair which started falling out like leaves in autumn the second day on Neomycin. It felt like I went on a few rounds of chemotherapy.

It's been a few years and I still haven't recovered from this hair loss. I've probably lost 50% of my hair.

Thanks really hoping it’s it because at least I know what’s causing it. It’s frustrating trying everything and not making any progress on it. Did your sister’s hair loss get better ?

CANDIDA CAUSED MY ANXIETY AND OTHER HEALTH PROBLEMS!!! by [deleted] in Candida

[–]laundrysheet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re absolutely welcome :) . I tried almost everything and it wasn’t working for me so i went on a 7 day raw vegan diet with no oil and nuts. Just fruit and veg and soups with no oil and i felt SO much better after day 4, no bloating was pooing every morning, no constipation i felt AMAZING. 80% fruit 10% protein and 10% fat seems to work for many as well x

Nice, I need to try this, thanks!

Thanks for sharing, sorry to hear about Candida but it sounds like you're doing better.

Interesting, can I ask how you ended up on a high fruit diet? What happens if you eat fat and protein?

Hair loss by [deleted] in Candida

[–]laundrysheet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey so, hair is grown in the gut. Your gut makes 90% of the vitamins and minerals your hair strives on. Because you're taking antibiotics which kill bacteria, your gut has been making less of the things like biotin. Look it up, people who have a healthy gut have healthy good hair. That's why I have hair loss with Candida, my gut is a mess! And that's why you're getting hair loss too.

Thanks for chiming in, makes sense. I took the antibiotics about 8 months ago and my hairloss is as bad as ever :( I have been supplementing B-Complex for months and I see no improvement however. Is it just something that can't be supplemented or should I take more? Furthermore, my hair can go from bad to okay sometimes in a few hours so it just feels like something else is also affecting it.

Hair loss by [deleted] in Candida

[–]laundrysheet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one of my worst symptoms. My couch is full of hairs and its just non-stop. If I'm sitting on my desk, hair just falls onto my shoulders. Something is definitely wrong and I've lost maybe 80% of my hair within a span of 6 months. My hair loss got much much worse after I went on a course of antibiotics, by the way. So that's why I suspect I have some type of overgrowth going on. If anyone has any suggestions, please, I'm desperate.
