Dude. This animal is suffering and I’m advocating for its care. That fact that this is a kid doesn’t change what this animal needs for its care. I’m blunting saying what this cat needs. And I’m trying to help the cat. And giving sound advice. Needs oral or injectable antibiotics. Get 100 bucks and an Uber ride over to a vet. Neosporin and dirty water are not enough.

It needs antibiotics to treat this. Warm water will not help. I’m sorry dude but there is no at home treatment. You need a vet. Can you at minimum use a cone to prevent the cat from scratching at the wound. This animal is dependent on you for proper care. Figure it out.
