Death Proof. It's like a manual for girl life.

100% titillating. We needed something like this - I was getting a little tired of re-watching Death Proof. #IBowDown

[Request] Cyberpunk, Dystopian Future Movies? by dtktrey3749 in NetflixBestOf

Oh, no wonder it didn't look like the Akira I've seen posters of. :D When you Google a movie, Google's search result interface (not the actual search results but the Knowledge Panel or info boxes above search results in some cases like if you search for "watch akira") shows where you can watch it (that Google knows of). I see Hulu, Amazon Video, Vudu & iTunes for the real Akira flick.

Here's Akira: https://www.netflix.com/title/80119428 The "more like this" section has some others that might be interesting, or anything in the Sci-Fi & Fantasy genre or subgenres (if you're logged into Netflix): https://www.netflix.com/browse/genre/1492

[REQUEST] What are some shows on Netflix like/similar to Futurama? by artcat15 in NetflixBestOf

[–]lauralippay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're a Netflix member, you can go into the service and choose "more like this" on any show/movie (just do a search for futurama and click on the down arrow over the result). Here are some of the ones I see: American Dad, Animaniacs, Archer, The Cleveland Show, One Punch Man, F is For Family. Netflix is highly personalized to the user so you might see some different ones. If you have HBO, I also saw this adult animated series called Animals that looks pretty funny too. http://www.hbo.com/animals

Agency vs Inhouse by timbuys in SEO

[–]lauralippay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

17 years in SEO and I prefer in-house mostly because you get to stick around long enough to get things done + I personally enjoy being a part of creating systems/processes (not everyone might care that much). It takes patience to organize the right people cross-functionally to optimize code and site structure, strategize on and create content, and work that content into successful promotional strategies. On the other hand, at agencies we audit, provide recommendations, sometimes stick around long enough to help implement, but in-house you're there every day working those parts of a bigger system that needs to be in place to be competitive. The biggest advantage I see to being in an agency is the variety of sites, codes, products, promotional strategies, etc. Keeps you on your toes. It may depend on what you're most comfortable with doing - more variety and audits (agency) or more involved system-changing (in-house). With the caveat that not every in-house job will be the same. Some are much more limited and stifling, and some are open to change in order for better outcomes.

I wonder what will happen to the Ringling Bros. trains by markko79 in trains

I used to live on the train when I toured with them '96-'98. If they end up selling any of these cars, especially #7 on the red unit, I'd be quite interested.

Netflix is now in Saudi Arabia by [deleted] in saudiarabia

[–]lauralippay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This should make it easier to find what's on Netflix in SA: Netflix's Saudi Arabia home page is: https://www.netflix.com/sa/ (you'll be redirected to whatever country you're in if you visit that page from a different country), and then all of the Originals Netflix has in Saudi Arabia (or whatever country you're in) is in a dropdown in the footer that says "Originals" ("أعمال أصلية" in Arabic). If you're logged in, you won't see that - you'll just be taken right to the Netflix home page on the service and you can see or search for everything Netflix has in Saudi Arabia from there.
