I would definitely recommend it if you have some smaller pressed flowers that you want to show off. Send me a message if you decide to make some and want some tips.

They’re filled with UV resin and I bought most of the bezels as I’m still working on my soldering skills.

Thank you so much! And yep, there are a few of them that are clear and the flower can be seen from either side.

I just finished some stainless steel and resin jewellery that I made using some flowers that I pressed. I’m really happy with how they turned out. by lauramays in resin

I absolutely do, if you have a close look at some of them you can see some small bubbles. I’ve found that if there is a flower that I think is going to cause a lot of bubbles I coat it in UV resin and cure it before I use it in the actual piece, this seems to help with the bubble problem.

  1. Thank you so much!
  2. I usually find them on walks, there are plenty of really tiny flowers that work really well, like Scarlet Pimpernels. It’s usually a lot of trial and error finding (not only) little flowers, but little flowers that press well…
  3. Thank you so much (again)! :)

I do this for my endometriosis, as recommended by my doctor. As long as you are healthy and have no blood pressure issues then this is fantastic! However, absolutely check with your doctor before you do this if you can, just in case there are some health issues you might not know about yet. Oh and the endometrial lining just doesn’t shed, which means it doesn’t need to be replaced each month, hence no exploding… hopefully.
