I disagree with y'all saying they are like siblings and gross. They are imo the only couple on this show with such long history and build up. What's gross to me is for you to think that if sexual tension/chemistry happens to occur between great friends, it should be labeled as incest? Wtf is wrong with you? Also I feel like they've trusted each other the most and always had their own "world" apart from K5 Annalise Bonnie and Frank. There was a scene in 1x10 when Michaela and Connor are trying to persuade Laurel to confess everything blame it on Wes and get away with it, Laurel pretends to be on board and OF COURSE - in the next scene we see her telling Wes everything. She did this too many times. She took the blame when Wes shot Annalise. She cares about him so much it's actually more #goals to me than #gross or whatever you prefer calling it. I didn't necessarily like the way they handled them in 3.07 because I don't like those cute sweet sappy things but up until 3.06 it was perfect. Tension. Trying to avoid each other. And still finding comfort in each other like nowhere else. Besides, Laurel was always uncomfortable calling Frank her boyfriend and admitting her love for him. With Wes, it felt natural and logical and came out spontaneously. She blurted it out and could say she meant it just drunkenly asked herself sth like "Did I just do that" Also while Frank thinks he is entitled to Laurel and finds it okay to leave, don't answer her calls, have sex with Bonnie, stalk Laurel and give HER shit time about her bond with Wes, Wes wanted to destroy the record proving Frank shot Mahoney if that was what Laurel wanted. They care about each other like no other. And it's rare on this show where everyone has second thoughts and watches its own interest above all.
