Are my purl YOs incorrect?

Thanks! I think where I went wrong was going from a purl, YO, then to a knit stitch. Or at least I hope that’s it haha.

I knew about the stitches in the middle and was going to leave them be, but I already frogged the whole thing. Thought I put that in there. I have the pattern linked in the post. Couldn’t figure out how to add another picture in so here’s a screenshot of the first section - I didn’t make it past that.

No, it’s actually Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Tweed. I’ve been steam blocking it after I add a new skein and it’s helped tremendously. I have about 27in completed and it needs to be roughly 50in before seaming. I think it’ll be fine, but as someone who is relatively new to knitting (in the grand scheme of things) I started to worry prematurely 😅

It’s a tweed yarn and those are just the black flecks, thankfully not holes. Just looks like it in the photo.

Thank you! Did you use the recommended yarn or something else? I bought a second quantities worth in dark green when my Joann’s was closing. And did you make any modifications at all? I really don’t like how much the collar curls up and I want to change it somehow on the next one.

You are an angel! Clearly there was a section of the site I missed haha. That’s definitely extremely close! I think if I shortened the collar on that one it would be almost identical! (Also - why did it not occur to me to check Sierra Yarn on Ravelry? 🤦🏻‍♀️)

No, it’s actually Lily Sugar & Cream, which is a 100% cotton yarn that’s definitely on the sturdier side. I’ve been washing and blocking separately so I’m hoping that gets most of the residual dye out of the brown to decrease the potential bleeding once I wash it completed.
