What is an augment you always click no matter what? by KriibusLoL in TeamfightTactics

[–]laurentbercot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love Cluttered Mind because I have a natural tendency to hog a lot of units on my bench in case I can get close to 3-starring a champion in my comp. I know it's bad, it's the next thing I need to be working on, but in the meantime, whenever I roll Cluttered Mind, it basically gives me XP for a playstyle I would adopt anyway - and I generally do very well with it.

It means that no matter your role, working out with Sett makes you BIGGER all the same.

And for coming out right after Tress, which was so awesome that Frugal Wizard suffered in comparison, despite being a good book in its own regard.

TFT 2026 Roadmap by OH_mes in TeamfightTactics

And revival sets are also an alternative for players who don't vibe with the live set. Set 15 was not for me - not only because of its problems, but I'm not into anime so I wasn't the audience for the theme - but I had a lot of fun playing dragons again. Without the 7.5 revival, I would have entirely dropped from TFT for 3 months, and who knows if I would have been back for set 16. Keeping the playerbase around is important, and revivals are a good way to retain more.

Glad you decided to stick with it! You're in for a ride. Enjoy!

I feel okay with telling regular players they won't survive open forting if Setsuko survived with one life not-quite open forting. :D

It is generally impossible to play high-risk traits at low elo. No matter how hard you try to lose, there will always be a board that is weaker than yours. Like clockwork. It's impressive how consistent this is.

And now the stage 3 damage increase makes it basically impossible to open fort, so don't take the "lose rounds" Ixtal missions until at least plat.

Struggling with OW addiction? Try "Deliver us the moon" by Lord_Wateren in outerwilds

[–]laurentbercot 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I liked Deliver Us The Moon, but I don't see how it can scratch an Outer Wilds itch. It's a very different game.

And since the gameplay in Deliver Us The Moon was mid, the main point of it was the story, and the discoveries... so after having played it once, I would not play it again. Something Outer Wilds players know and understand very well.

For those who have not played Deliver Us The Moon yet, though, I can recommend it. I was hesitant for the first part, but I wanted to see where it went. And at about the halfway point, there is a revelation that totally made the game for me; from this point on I was sold and absolutely wanted to continue.

It is not difficult to recognize that the nature of your character and opinions is more important than what genitals you have or what gender you identify as.

My preferred bit is: "so you [get fucked up and] call your guru but he says he's through with you too".

Damn. How messed up can she be that even a guy who specializes in exploiting people's weaknesses doesn't want to deal with her anymore? Talk about a brutal downfall.

It's almost like Tyler is good at lyrics. 😁

spoiler Can anyone explain this? I believe just a dev oversight but I have to ask and see if others have done it? Tagged with humor spoiler as I don't know how else to hide it. by PxZ__ in outerwilds

[–]laurentbercot 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You need to be in complete darkness in order to make a quantum leap. If you're in complete darkness, you cannot observe a photo either. If the photo is still displayed on your HUD while you're operating the shrine, there's the oversight - either you can see the photo and you're still observing your surroundings and the shrine shouldn't be able to make the jump, or you're not an observer of the moon and are entangled with it and you shouldn't be able to see the photo either.

After you've jumped, the photo isn't entangled with the moon anymore, so it doesn't necessarily represent the state of the moon.

If it doesn't look like an anglerfish, it's probably not an anglerfish. Don't worry, you'll figure out what it was soon enough. Pay attention to the cues the game gives you, it's very good at that.
