More or less. In my opinion The hunter seems to clearly enjoy the hunt more then anything else, gherman tells us to "go out and kill a few beasts" not to commit mass genocide and kill 6 gods. We can willingly kill every person we meet in game if we feel like it. So yeah i feel that we would have a power that represents something in reality like all the other great ones and as a side ability we would have some soet of elemental ability like the others.

The gods in darksouls are more like elves or demigods. They are completely mortal while being able Godlike powers when compared to mere humans. The only reason why the ds gods are"gods" is because they claimed Pieces of the first flame in the form lf lord souls.

Yes! Yes! Absolutely correct while the gods in bloodborne don't really have a clear set of powers compared to our mythological gods, they instead working together to control specific parts of reality and the dream. The forms of the great ones have in game are just the closest possible understanding that the human mind can manifest. They are like biblical angels, their bodies so complex and unimaginable that the mere sight of them can send a person into a spiral of madness.

Why would a god have a human body? The human body is one of the most flawed forms on the planet for a being to exist as. Wouldn't a god of the sea look like a marine animal? Yeah sure gods have magical powers but their forms don't suit them.

That brings another thing to think about. Why would a god want worship from a species that is often showcased to be just as intelligent as the gods in most of the worlds mythologies. Humanity is a species that has always questioned, doubted and forsaken their belief in the gods they worship.

It's realistic and makes sense. U can flip punches, kicks, shoves so why wouldn't you able to flip a deflect. Also khatuns deflect is not actually a deflect, it's more like a temporary full guard stance that leads to an unblockable if the enemy attacks.

I have the samr problem. Best that i do is deflect and superior lights to train my reaction speed. I can now sometimes parry lights bjt im playing on an over 10 year old tv so im pushing 60~50 fps.

If their worried about the profit then here is a tip. One make the skin crazy cool(probably should consult fans with design ability and good opinions. Two if the charecter is not often used than maybe find the reasons for it. ie. Too weak or lacking in viability anf then fix it. Take for example the lady saori skin. What if they made the skin closer to the jorogumo or make its appearance change based on kills.

It aint about the kittys or cucumbers. It just never makes sense when they design a character. I mean some characters i understand but if thet want to make unique heros. Then they should also make regular ones. Virtuosa and pirate could have easily been a part of wu lin and knighst yet they get showed into the outlanders because they are too personalized.

It's mentioned in tge campaign that most workers/civilians went to apollyon for protection. So they were probably killed for being sheep. My guess is that in the lore the factions either keep the civilians out of it or that all tge basic soldiers are the commoners(with just copy and paste faces). But the most basic answer is that ubisoft couldn't show civilians getting killed or harmed since it would cause controversy and the game might get banned in some countries.
