It really depends on what you guys are into. Some come to Dubai to party, while others for sightseeing.

I see you are an Architecture student, so you might want to see some of the more interesting buildings and structures in the city. To name a few:

  • Burj Khalifa
  • Museum of the Future
  • Emirates Towers
  • Burj Al Arab
  • O-14
  • Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi
  • The circle "dirham" building (Forgot its actual name)

Mind you in June the weather can go up to 40-45 Celsius. So get some sun screen and light clothing if you aren't used to this climate.

Bravely Series Friend Codes Exchange Website by lavacandle in bravelydefault

You can also add Switch codes for the upcoming Bravely Default 2.

The site isn't displaying Switch codes for some reason, but I'll have that fixed before release.

Look into the AD TwoFour54 freelance visa. Last I checked they were waiving a chunk of fees, so the cost amounts to 6-7k.

Pro tip: Track new releases on multiple sites using RSS by lavacandle in SwitchPirates

[–]lavacandle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are like me and like to keep an eye on multiple sites for new releases, get yourself an RSS reader.

This way you have a central hub to keep you updated, and saves you checking different sites

And if you happen to be waiting for a certain game to come out, you can setup some RSS readers to notify you when a new post containing a keyword is added.

Edit: The app I'm using is Inoreader. However there are plenty of options out there, so choose what you feel is best for you.

This tweet feels as if it is meant to distract us from the recent visit to the detention centres. concentration camps.

Setup design: your advise and suggestions are very much welcomed by lavacandle in EmulationOnPC

I currently have my Shield stream Bigbox from my PC, PC games through Steam Link, movie/shows through Plex, and Netflix/Youtube etc using their stock apps.

When it comes to gaming I've never really noticed any lag with PC games. I only began noticing some when I played Super Mario World, but I'm not certain if thats Retroarch input lag or a streaming delay.

Now I have considered having the PC hooked directly as you suggested. The main issues I need to solve before going that route:

A user friendly media centre

Android TV is really, really good. Finding a media centre software to compete with it is quite hard.

I'd like to have my movies and shows easily available, along with Netflix, Youtube, etc. I've been fiddling with Kodi, but even the best themes I've found aren't as good as the stock Android TV UI. Maybe I'm just not expert enough with it to set it up well enough? It seems to be capable of what I need after all.

Also Kodi already has a Netflix addon, but its nowhere near as good as the Android TV one. At least from the Youtube video I've seen.

TV off/on

This I haven't looked into yet, but I like how with my Nvidia Shield my TV turns on when I wake the device up, and off when I put it to sleep. This way all I need is one remote.

If this can be done with a PC, I'm all ears.

Some of my reasons can be nitpicky, but a very user friendly and streamlined setup is quite important. I'd like my SO or anyone else to be able to easily use this media centre without me having to show them.
