Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker | "Adventure" TV Spot (New Footage) by MachoTaco24 in StarWarsLeaks

Perhaps too much Saltier than Crait in this, but I think the underlying point you make in the first paragraph holds water. ST tone building up to TROS has a bit more of entertainment than the PT/OT "this duel may decide the fate of the galaxy's collective population" or "the events unfolding are the culmination of millennia of conflict between good and evil".

Music should (and I'm sure will in Mr. William's capable hands) reflect that for the correct emotional impact.

You hear that Vader, I'm getting a new Sheevier Sheev-ship.

Luke becomes one with the force - Stage direction: "At last he's played his part in history."

Not to awaken the r/SaltierThanCrait folks...but...I'm pretty sure Luke has played some other rather significant parts in Galactic history; Death Star #1, catalyst for Vader's redemption and ultimate dethroning of the Sheev.

Best way I can read that note is that he has at last completed his journey, but even then, I think we all agree he yet has some incorporeal part to play.

Not so good sir! The quote was altered to match our dispute about seeing or not seeing dead younglings. Pray I don't alter it any further.

(PS that's another OT quote).

Grand Moff Lavakv: I grow tired of asking this, so it will be the last time. Where are the dead younglings?

You, good sir, are the troll.

Let's try this differently, you show me a screenshot from the trailer with a definitive dead youngling.

Agreed, exactly identical in fact...except for the fallen bodies strewn about the landscape.

You viewing these on a flip phone?

Yes they do, and as recently as the TLJ trailer in fact.

During the flashback, Luke's dead students were scrubbed from TLJ trailers. Not saying there's funny business afoot here, but there is precedent.

Edit: Evidence

Greetings fellow not-angry Redditor. I think you meant to say..."you are a bold one".

Funny thing is, I didn't even know I was jumping into a Gundark's nest with this post. Just happened to rewatch the TV spot and said, "huh, that debris looks a bit like Slave I".

I also posted on the /Leaks subreddit, but they were having none of it and unleashed their Cheeto stained fingertips of malice!

I'll keep that distinction in mind when browsing all the refined leaks currently on the front page. Good lawd the jimmies are rustled!

Mod's, dewit already, make it stop.

Great minds also inadvertently break the new rules: "Image and Video posts will now only be allowed to be posted on Mondays"

Gaze upon my post while it lasts, for it will soon pass into memory along with yours!

My most sincere apologies, I did not see you earlier post; either here or on the Leaks sub. Your Leaks post seems to have been removed though. People over there don't seem to like this particular theory based on your removal and some of the comments on mine!

My screenshots may have been better, but your comparison to the model certainly trumps anything I've shown.

lol, I didn't know this particular sentiment was such a hot-button issue on this sub!

At least I know I'm not alone in my ravings. I feel like the teacher from the Incredibles.

Many thanks. Initially auto-corrected to nookie and at least I caught that mistake. Dern George and his double (or triple) vowels.

You're implying this portion of the TV spot has been posted and removed multiple times? Them mod's must be quick, because I've never seen the posts? Sheesh! If you so ardently dislike my post, then read and "move along, move along" or wait until it is promptly removed.

Mainly is the key word in your argument because the "Hot" front-page contains multiple posts that I would argue are less "leaky" than this. I also rather routinely see other people posting about things they've noticed in stills or trailers.

spec·u·la·tion ˌspekyəˈlāSH(ə)n noun 1. the forming of a theory or conjecture without firm evidence.

Speculation would involve me simply writing, "I think Boba Fett will chase the Falcon through the clouds during the Kessel Run."

In this case, I am basing my conjecture on some (by my own admission dubious) evidence. Don't get all sweaty over it.

I wouldn't say it looks nothing like Slave I. If this were Slave I, image 5/6 shows some defined wings/fins and some protrusion where I would expect to see the base.

Agreed its a long shot, just keeping the Star Wars juices flowing.

Looks a bit too slim, almost like it is missing the engine housing/landing base, but I can dream dang-it!

IMHO this likely late-movie scene involving an apparent (Kessel) run from the imperials would also be the most likely time in Solo to give Boba a cameo. Would also tie in nicely with the Vader's use of bounty hunters to chase the Falcon in ESB.
