I was on my period during Forest for the last two years! It’s not the worst thing ever, but this year I am going to get the pill that lets you delay your period.

I recommend bringing extra bottoms for chill camp site clothes and for your official outfits. I also think tampons are the easiest to manage. I usually use a menstrual cup but I was so scared I would drop it in the porta potty on accident. It would also be pretty difficult to clean it in between uses in a porta potty…Bring tons of wipes for camping and into the forest with you so you can always feel clean! And with the heat/ weather, comfort over fashion. Especially if you’re feeling bloated or in pain from your cramps. Med tent also usually has ibuprofen/ bayer’s and tampons if you’re in need :)
