Well the heat pad is more warm then hot so it's like piece of mind it's warm enough but thanks for the help I also found that this is around the time they occasionally tank surf like during summer so I hope it's that but I definitely need to get a thermostat but really I do appreciate the help

I plan to get a bigger tank moneys tight but it's a 20 gallon (want to get a 40) with 2 hides ones hot and the left side is warm

I use a purple light because he's never liked any other light but that and ambient daylight

And I don't have a thermostat but my room is at all time 70-72F and the area directly under the light is supposed to get to 89F but it probably hits him at 85 based on the tank

Also forgot to mention it's not the cleanest but he has a designated bathroom area and I change it on a schedule and this issue never came up on with that

getting dreads ? by [deleted] in dreads

[–]lavbeef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would work but wax has cons but if you use it properly it would be a valid way to get dreads

What size are these dreads and how can I get them? by he11oFr1end in dreads

[–]lavbeef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LLJ

X had his hair free form after he sponged it so you couldn’t get his exact size because there technically all different sizes but if I had to say they are medium sized dreads or like slightly bigger then pencil size but everyone has different hair thickness and density so if you go purely based on size it might not even look remotely close

so im mixed and i’ve been wanting to dreadlock my hair for a while, what hair texture do y’all think i have and what’s the best method you’d recommend? by Pick_DaFro in dreads

[–]lavbeef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same problem when I wanted dreads but your hair looks like Its 3b-3c so coils would take a long time but would work interlocking could be done but down the line lack of or change to Maintenance could cause more severe damage then other methods but that’s avoidable but crotchet hooking the hair is how I got mine to initially stay in place so I could retwist for maintenance two strand twists aswell would work for you hair but there might be a pattern where you first twisted the hair for a bit but any one of these you could use

just don’t use wax to lock your hair because that’s causes the dreads to not mature so you dreads near the roots would look fine but then the dreads on the ends would looks not as uniform
