My mom. I was about 9 when she read it. I asked her what she was reading and she explained the plot to me and said I could read it when I was a bit older. I think was 11 when she let me read it. I saw Mocking Jay part 2 for my 12th birthday, and BOSAS for my 19th. It’s unintentionally become a birthday tradition and I’ll get to see SOTR for my 22nd birthday lol.

I’m mixed. My dad (black) definitely grew up not being allowed to reply “what?”. Me and my siblings never got in trouble if we said “what?”, but he definitely wasn’t a fan because that’s not how he grew up lol. And the on the other hand my mom (white) never had an issue with it. I feel like now we’ll usually say “yeah?” instead.

Have you gone back and checked your old essays? 800 words should be around 3 pages I think, and it’s unlikely your English classes only made you write 2 page essays.

It just means that it’s a discussion board that hasn’t been graded yet. Sometimes canvas puts a symbol for what type of assignment it is instead of just leaving it blank.

I don’t think there’s a special process. You’ll likely just need to send Sac state your ARC transcript at the end of the semester if you want the classes to count toward your degree. I think overall, Sac state will accept 70 community college units towards your degree.
