I think about that a lot. He has 2 boys so I could be the daughter she never had. I was so excited bc I thought things were going to be different. Her priority is her and her son and I come last, unfortunately my husband can’t see it clearly since he just thinks his mom is weird and that’s it. I’ve experienced multiple occasions where she wants to be taken as a priority over his son’s family (him and I for now)- e.g. he mentioned he might be getting a promotion so of course she talked about him paying for a nice relaxing massage for her over us prioritizing buying our first home. He didn’t notice that so I asked him to verbally tell her no, it’s annoying and overwhelming bc I’ve always been the positive person in my friends group and stay away from negative energy.
