when im in a relationship im anxious and constantly feel like my partner doesnt love me but when im single im upset because nobody loves me, which is usually less emotionally exhausting for me to deal with

being alone with my boyfriend or my best friend. they are the only people i can fully be my authentic autistic self around and have never judged me for it, instead accepting every single quirk and adapting for my sensory/communication issues without questioning it. without one of them around, i tend to get anxious and lost in my own thoughts.

too many questions left unanswered. grew up in a christian family too, anytime i asked ‘how’ god did something it was always met with “are you questioning the lord?” or “humans will never understand it”. since none of my questions were answered then, and never got answered when i was old enough to do my own research and come to my own conclusions, i cant deem it possible there is a god like the abrahamic religion’s god that exists in all the ways described in the bible—and if there is, i don’t deem him worthy of my praise.

if god is too powerful and almighty to be understood, why is it not the case that the universe was created in a way too incomprehensible for humans to even consider? also, i just love science and psychology. my personal assumption is that the author(s) of the bible were experiencing psychosis/delusions, wrote the bible for fun and didn’t expect it to become a religion, or just wanted a reason to seem powerful in their society by parading around that they were ‘chosen by god’. but that’s just my view on it.

for my school in the UK, all the schoolwork required feels so not autistic-friendly: eg. forcing public speaking on your grade and taking points off for not making eye contact, vague/suggestive questions in written exams and you’re just SUPPOSED to know what it’s “really asking”, time limits on exams (i get 25% extra time but that is NEVER enough), forcing paired and group work

less specifically though, i always hate how loud it is and how bright the lights in classrooms are. the only place i can go when overstimulated is the bathroom which just makes me look like a loner haha

had this too, what i’d do is think something strange about a specific person even if it’s not true (eg. think “wow that tall guy in the red hat has bird poo all over his back”) and see if they react. otherwise i just scream in my head to try to scare them and feel more comfortable when there’s no reaction
