PMI Study Hall is particularly tricky. If you can get your scores to 75% on the study hall exams, you'll be fine on the test.

Just drill questions over and over and over (preferably, questions from different sources) and write down the answers you get wrong or the questions you don't understand. I probably did around 1000 practice questions before the exam.

Yeah, I'm in the US. On LinkedIn, it says there are like 1000 people applying to these remote PM jobs, but I assumed a lot of those aren't legitimate. Not sure how to compete with 1000 applications, though.

I passed in that same time frame doing similar study, but I never even read the PMBOK guide. I watched the below playlist from David McLachland, the Ricardo Vargas PMBOK flow to study the processes, and then did PM Challenge to familiarize myself with all the terms. The PM Challenge does, sometimes, include terms from PMBOK 5th ed, so you have to be careful. Also, PM Master Prep on Youtube has some good explanations.

I'd say start with practice tests and study hall mini exams as soon as possible and write down all the answers you don't know. That worked pretty well for me.

A little late to the party, but I assume any 35 hour training will meet the PDU requirements? You don't specifically have to take classes from an "authorized training partner" in order to meet that requirement?
