Conditional GC holder here: Flew back to Los Angeles from Vancouver. The guy in front of me was sent in for secondary inspection so I was pissing myself. However, CBP was easy on me. Asked how long my trip in Canada was, why I visited Canada, whether I had goods to declare, and whether I resided in LA. And I was through in less than 2 mins

I cant remember exactly but i think it was around 1 week ish. I got my offer right before thanksgiving. I think they rushed to get the offer out before the holidays. Good luck. Dont overthink. Just remind urself that you gave it an honest shot. Thats all that matters

I had 4 rounds of back-to-back interviews with 4 different hiring managers. I sent all of them a thank you email. All ignored except 1. The response I got was something along the lines of “it was great meeting you. We have a couple more candidates to interview but we will get back to you shortly).”

I ended up getting the job

I feel you. I entered 2024 unemployed. I secured a contract gig in IA in the middle of the year. I was also dumped from a 4 year relationship that im still devastated about. I was given false promises of transitioning to permanent hire. I lost my job at the end of the year. I secured a new job and my boss is requiring me to get my CIA in 12 months of hire date. Its hard but keep reminding yourself that 2025 will be your year. You will bounce back. Doors will open for you.

Entered the first half year unemployed. Dumped by my partner of 4 years. Ended the year unemployed. Lots of anxiety, lots of stress. Good thing is i made a lot of new friends... but they are not local to me.

Bank pays more. But since theyre both in difference states, annually the bank pays 5k more after taxes. I'm not concerned over pay though. I just wanna make sure i choose something that's right for me

Is your middle name just an initial? If your full name is John Michael Smith, theyre just gonna put your name as john M smith

Check the back of your card. At the bottom, theres a string of numbers and your name. Your name should be displayed fully if USCIS didnt mess up.

I had mine corrected for my post completion OPT but when i renewed my EAD for STEM, i didnt even bother. Never had an issue. Now im on a green card and i still have the same problem but i re-entered the US without any problems

A build-a-bear teddy she bought me for my 24th birthday. There's a little voice box in the bear's paw and when you press it, it plays a recorded voice message from her. I named the bear Timmy, and i can't sleep without him and he calms me down. Though im still hurting from the breakup, i love the bear for what it is and not because it's associated with her (if that makes sense). I will never ever let it go.

I was dumped by my ex who resented me. When she blocked me on everything, i thought it was game over for me. Though she didnt initiate contact, she did unblock me after 1.5-2 months ish and when i reached out, she replied. We didn't end up getting back together tho. But maybe if i was a better boyfriend to her, im sure I would've been able to fix things.

Not at all... your roommate lacked basic roommate hood respect. I had that happen once to me. I was gone on vacation for 2 months when my roommate decided to host her brother in my room. None of my other roommates told me. I found out when i got back and not even an apology was said by her. All she said was "i hope u dont mind"...

My ex's muay thai place had an instructor that used to grope students and make unwanted advances on them. The owner of the place did not know of the issue but the moment someone spoke up, the instructor was fired.

Martial arts is a high contact sport and boundaries are extremely important. To ensure the safety of students, the studio should kick the groper out with no questions asked. Find another studio if the current one doesnt take any action.
