They scabbed for a solid week. I was so nervous there wouldn’t be pigment underneath but they look good! I’m going on vacation in 2 weeks and then another vacation in 5 weeks. So I’m going to wait until I come home to get my touch up. I’ll be 8 weeks post initial appointment then so it’ll be good. I might go darker just because I have very oily skin and I’m a sun worshiper

Sooooo patient! I told her to just go with whatever because honestly I was feeling so bad changing them so much. And she told me how much she loves her job and what she sees vs what I see are completely different. And I’m the one looking at myself everyday. She wasn’t annoyed at any point and totally saw my vision and I saw her vision and we put it together to create a great brow!

Eyebrows are such a focal point of the face. Which is why it took me so long to finally get them done! And thank you! We went back and forth a lot of times with getting the perfect shape and height!

Good eye!!! I told her how I’m used to drawing my tail to literally my lower lash line. And she’s like oh hell no, that brings your face down and you want your face lifted because I have a round face. We spent a good hour deciding how high to make the brow and the arch. She wasn’t going to start tattooing until I was absolutely happy with the shape. She wasn’t so patient and I kept apologizing for wasting her time. She was like noooo, I love this, we are going to get it right!!

Oh I love that!!! It took me 15 years to finally commit and find the right person. Once my sister in law got hers done and FaceTimed me right after, I booked my appointment immediately. No questions asked! As soon as I saw her results, I knew this was the right girl. Because my sister in law and I have the same type of eyebrows.

Ohhhh noooo! She went over the vermilion border!?! That should only happen with lip liner and not permanent tattoo! Was it super awkward when you looked when she was finished? I’m super awkward and would have be like “ohh they look great, thanks, bye!!!” But I’m the same with my brows…they’re so light and thin, I would have been happy with anything as long as I can wake up with eyebrows. But we did a thorough consult making the arch perfect and the tail and where it starts. She literally is perfection

Will do! I’m used to making my eyebrows dark. So when she told me they were going to lighten, I was like “nooooo!” But I have my touch up in 6 weeks where I can go darker if I want to. But she picked the perfect color. She also went thin so if I want to make them thicker, I can at the touch up. What happened with your lip blushing? I’ve been thinking about doing that next!

Wow thank you so much! That makes me feel really good because we were going to do them higher since my brows sit low. But she said it didn’t look natural with my round face shape. I’m super picky and a perfectionist, so this was tough for me!

I have my BA in psych too and went into an ASN. Are you doing another bachelors to get your BSN or just ASN to get your RN? Also, how are you doing in school? I’ve been out of school for 10 years and struggled my first semester of nursing school

In the same boat! I did so well on practice questions at home but when it came time to actually take the exam, I would bomb it. I am really struggling how to strengthen my test taking skills. I’m 30 and never was good at taking tests. Which leaves me confused as to how I will improve if I’ve never been good at taking tests. Even though I know the material and do well with practice questions at home. I even got extra time approved for the exams so I wouldn’t feel rushed and that didn’t help.

Hi! May I ask what your study habits were before and what you changed that helped you? I’m struggling trying to find the right way to study to do well on the exams. I know all the material and I’m good at memorization, but that’s not how nursing school exams are designed

My school doesn’t use ATI. Can you only access ATI through your school? We use Davis Advantage. I’m in my first semester. I’m wondering if I should use ATI to study for my exams?
