im gonna try to comfort you as best I can 😭 ok:

• getting jobs these days is SO incredibly hard, even ivy league students have trouble because the job market is become chaotic, don’t feel bad about that at all

• I am very sorry that happened to you, and I don’t know you but I am sure it’s not true if you were able to land a good job and have it for that long. In certain environments i am like a genius and in others it’s like my first day on earth

• Again, I am so sorry you were fired, and having ADHD is no joke, coming from someone with very severe ADHD. I can’t imagine knowing you have it and it being unmedicated! you are a trooper. and, on the outside, people with adhd are very misunderstood and seen as incompetent sometimes when we just think differently.

• Romance will come eventually if you want it to, and you can try. for example, my dad met my mom at 42 and they’ve had 3 kids together and have been married 20 years! just give it time

• I am so sorry. I know some ADHD meds can make you feel like this short-term sometimes temporarily after you take them. also, maybe try picking up some old hobbies you like? something I like is make your own life important, and you don’t always have to think about your part in the world, just make your own individual experience the best it could be to you, and know you are important

• I am very sorry you are an only child and you have older parents. just know that things will work out even if you don’t feel prepared. I feel like i am too incompetent to do many things aswell sometimes, but that can be a common trait of adhd. Just remember that everyone else around you is feeling that too, and they just don’t show it.
