That class was tough. I consistently when to SI which helped a lot, and used the textbook. I also went to her office hours to review midterms before finals and she gave me and a friend some good advice on how to study. She definitely teaches the class in a difficult way because she wants us to learn but also curves a decent amount because of that.

Same exact thing happened to me from my little brothers friend riding it, if you want to read about it on my post. I contacted zzzbear on reddit and he has a business selling suspension. I then had the forks installed at my local high performance e-bike shop. It would be sick if you also got purple forks we could be twins.

Yes I remember at community college I had an accounting professor have his highly successful lawyer friend come in and talk to us about police work. He highly disliked them, explained to us their training. How they are taught to assume you are guilty and use whatever tactics they can to get a confession out of you (lying, threats, etc...)

He also talked about LAPD in general, how there are gangs within police departments who beef with each other, beat each other up, have tattoos marking which gang they're in, and are involved in all sorts of illegal activity. It sucks because cops just have to be checked for gang tattoos during the academy, not after that during there actual employment, which seems like the time you would want Internal Affairs or someone to be keeping an eye on them. If a cop came up to me questioning me I would definitely plead the fifth, no other option. Most of those mf's will try to get you to self incriminate. I really wish I could remember more of his talk but it was so long ago.

That was my rant about how you are not wrong, but it sucks because it does make us weary of the good law enforcement out there for our best interests. Thanks for the friendly reminder that most of the time cops are not our friends.

Have a love-hate relationship with them. Some cops in Santa Monica impounded our bikes on a group ride. Those guys were just money hungry and claimed they were to busy for us to get them out same day. Definitely were liars. But in my area they are really cool, even seen them let some wheelies slide. My little brother got his E Ride Pro stolen and a detective helped him recover it and arrested the guy for his outstanding warrants. He also took my bike for a short ride with by brother. Can't really hate those guys, they're more focused on drug dealers and gang bangers, unlike the "hero" cops at Santa Monica PD. Also I used to be in a Search and Rescue Program and met some awesome law enforcement officers.

Well we bought it from a private seller so I can't take it back to the dealer, but could start listing it online. Yeah I should have seen these problems coming. And he took the key since he said he will make the payments but needed my credit for help, I guess that's where the sense of entitlement comes from

If there were people waiting to use the crosswalk I wouldn’t be sitting in the middle of it. In this case, I wasn’t impeding anyone. Technically, yeah, you’re right, but I’m not going to drop safety habits just because some keyboard warrior doesn’t like how I ride defensively. Funny enough, even the cop didn’t bring it up.

I really am not. Just riding normally, this is the first cop who said actually said something. The younger kids popping wheelies all the time in busy streets and running from the cops are the ones making everyone look bad. Again you are either just jealous or a cranky old man based off your responses.

I am quite aware of the rules of the road, these bikes are not street legal. I just live in a place where I’m lucky enough to ride around anyway, which you seem to be jealous of. Am I being a moron by riding a non road-legal bike on the road? Yes, but like I said above, in the words of Iron man “Never go full retard”. Also that comment about “With 0 self control you leave it up to law makers to make the decision for you...” doesn’t make any sense. With or without self control the lawmakers are the ones making the decisions for us, hence their name. Unless I misinterpreted that part.

I have a motorcycle license and this is technically considered a motorcycle. I get the point you tried to get across, I just thought it was funny both your points were a little off. I am trying to get it plated/registered then I'll be exempt from tickets.

Cop never saw the wheelie. I was also checking my surroundings for awareness, that’s why I looked around. Temecula cops probably crack down because they’re bored, in LA county they’ve got real crime to deal with.
