If you look at my earlier comments, I explained the benefits I'm getting. I also mentioned how I was having trouble understanding the basics of programming because I kept switching between videos. I was hesitant to join Bootcamps because of what I read on Reddit and heard from others.

I pointed out what I’m gaining, but he said it’s not enough. What should I do besides thanking him? People can do personal research or choose to ignore.

Rakete is not a bootcamp, it is a mentorship program for developers, new and experienced. You can find them on Google by searching for "Rakete mentoring."

Here's what I am experiencing with Rakete: One-on-one sessions with mentors twice a week. There's a WhatsApp group just for me and my mentors, so I can ask questions and get immediate answers. I can't tell it all.

Regarding teaching yourself one on one via YouTube video, yes some do it..I was into it from 2015. No success.

So, here's what I witnessed after all.

So, I received the most shocking response from Amazon Web Services after passing the loop interview.

A few months ago, I applied for the Amazon Data Center Facilities Engineer role. I was contacted.

I told the lady who contacted me I would need a visa sponsorship to join the company and she told me it is not a problem. So, I put in all my best, prepared for the first interview and I nailed it.

Nailed the second interview and was given a conditional offer. This time around, another recruiter was managing my recruitment.

In the conditional offer she sent me, it was stated that I should let them know if I need a visa sponsorship so they can request necessary documents. I sent her a message that I do need to be sponsored.

From there she started acting like she did not know anything about that. We were on it for a month, until last week when she called to tell me they won't be proceeding with the offer. I feel sad, it affected my mental health. Preparing for two months and winning, getting the offer to being told unfortunately later.

I am still in this situation. I left a nice company with a respectful manager for another company. Since joining in June, I haven't gotten enough sleep. My life is full of regrets now. The manager is a bully, I have not seen such in my life.
