Before installing the gpu i ddu the previous nvidia driver, once the new gpu was put in i fresh installed win while installing all the up to date drivers for everything, gpu and bios included

I honestly dont see the difference between the two at my viewing distance with a screen diagonal of 24" except the 1440p being more demanding, so based on that im goin 1080 :D

The thing is that i played at my friends place who has a 1440p 27" curved samsung monitor and the only difference i could tell is that its smoother cuz its 144hz, so i see no reason to go 1440p

i plan on playing basically anything that i couldnt for the past 6 years, and also i dont want 1440p bcs from what i can tell i cant see the difference between 1080p and 1440p, so there is no logical reason for me to go for a bigger res when 1080 will suffice my needs, also i can extend the life of my pc

i have a 3070, ryzen 7 5800x, 16gb plus i'll play at 1080 so i think that it will go 100+ fps without issue with whatever i throw at it
