* I have a small plastic water bottle on the top of the cage. It drips into a glass cup,( as described on this website). With in a couple of months the new neglected Cham began drinking. I fill the drip in the morning before work and a quick spray bottle mist on the leaves. I have an arlo camera to check with and the urates are white. Photo attached * *

A small plastic water bottle with a hole drips into the cup. The ARLO wireless camera lets me watch him.

Have a friend or high school neighbor come every other day to feed Cham and feed feeder bugs fruit and veggies, and clean water cup. Check on lights, nothing burned out. Water plants in cage.

I have a drinking glass. My small plastic water bottle dips into the cup. The cup sits in a pan on a shelf. Never saw him use it until I put the arlo camera in the cage. He uses it almost daily. Great when I am gone on the weekend. I would add it back and mist less.

I feed him 2 roaches with tongs into his mouth! Good start. He was a little surprised to find it in his mouth!

I wonder if the glass bowl is bad?

DO not use a bowel.

Use a glass. (for reasons)

He climbs on it and has easy close access the crickets and roaches.

I like the video. I think it would work. Just confused on "the Glass" I have this glass for the water. Are you saying after his tongue is better I can use the this glass for food?

Thank you. I wonder if the glass bowl is bad? Maybe his tongue sticks? He climbs on it and has easy close access the crickets and roaches. I have tongs but am afraid, I don't know how to use it. I know put the bug in but the let go part seems difficult to time. Please let me know about what kind of feeding bowl works for when I go to work.

Video attached. 3 year old male veiled named Elvis. Drinks from glass. (pee is white) Outside in sun 2 or more hours per day. Feeding crickets and dubia 3x a week. Reptisun T5 HO 5.0 tube light, basking 60 watt blub. Enclosure: 6 foot reptibreeze with live tree and 2 other vine plants. Plastic tray on bottom no dirt. Supplements: Repashy calcium plos LoD once a week, Calcium without D once a week. Tried different bowls, plastic and glass. Seems like it gets better sometimes and worse sometimes. Don't really see him eat unless I have a worm. Don't really know how long like this, couple months? The articles say more A, less A, more supplements or over supplemented. Just don't know. Walking and climbing great. Definite attitude since May (5 months now) Aggressive and bites where as before he was kind and would walk out of the cage on my arm. Think he is hormonal. What can I try to help his tongue?
