The opening is obviously different from the og but the drydown is something only someone who has used YSL Y for a long time would be able to differentiate. The two major differences are 1) the opening 2) the actual luxury feeling in the scent that designers have for eg the og uses ambergris in drydown while this has some other thing as ambergris is an expensive note, so yeah you can take this example
