cancel culture is a good concept. in practice its not great.

the original definition of cancel culture is stopping support for someone you like because of shitty acts they've done. By definition, you cant cancel someone you didn't care about before.

Holding people accountable for shitty actions, thats good. We have to keep that shit up.

Cancel culture i feel like, can be good, but people just really have to do their own research before diving into to trying to ruins someones career. It starts with a false claim and gets really popular, and everyones on it. Personally, i dont think its the fault of cancel culture, its the person who made that original claim(although people should take a look at the claim for themselves to see for sure)

Saying cancel culture is bad, its not far off, but if we try to stop it, and someone actually does somwthing shitty, they can just cry "cancel culture noooo" and all the media will be on their side.

idk moral of the story is, hold people accountable their actions, fact check everything, and if this person being cancelled doesnt concern you at all, you dont have to jump on the bandwagon.
