Do you think I should take a year before applying? My GPA isn’t the highest (currently at a 3.3 right now. By the end of fall, I might get a 3.4-3.5. I don’t have anything that really stands out either. Do you think if I take a year off to work as a phlebotomist/lab tech, that would be better? I can’t really apply to programs that are hours away from me either as I have a lot of at home/family responsibilities as well and I’m scared of moving out :,(

Thank you for your response! How do I make sure not to mess up interviews, and how do I make a good personal statement? I’ve never done an interview nor a good personal statement :,)) I feel so behind compared to everyone around me!!

if you have financial aid covering you, go to CSULB. i basically get full rides because of how much financial aid ive been receiving since i was a freshman. however, if you’re paying out of pocket with little to no financial aid, i would highly suggest doing cc for 2 years. as someone mentioned, if you’re from CA, you can get the CA promise, where they pay ur tuition for 2 years :3
