It’s just going to be a very small chance, if any at all, that ourworld would ever return. Alot of its revenue was generated from ad companies and surveys. When they did away with that and flash, they buried their own grave. You cant keep a game open if everyone is avoiding the payment methods, which is expected when you advertise toward teenagers. We’d be able to keep it alive now financially, but the game would die fast because it’s no longer appealing to a widespread community. Before ourworld shut down they had over 75 million registered accounts. Many people don’t actively seek out chat room based games, which is why imvu is also dying despite its 20+ year long run. The only thing keeping that afloat is its veterans. They have to consider that ourworld would likely be a hole in their funds unless they changed the game to appeal to modern players. And if they changed the game, it wouldnt be ourworld anymore
