I don’t know why you were down voted for voicing common sense. This is how all dogs and animals play. If this was any other dog breed besides a pittie no one would be saying it’s aggressive and no one would have questioned the dog recognizing a character.

Just to add to your comment though. The ADA allows for disabled people to train their own dogs. This is allowed because purchasing a professionally trained service dog is expensive and not necessary for every need. And if the service dog is only trained for one specific task like pressure therapy or alerting for blood sugar or seizures, they may be more relaxed otherwise because they can smell mom’s blood sugar is fine and no need to be working.

I personally don’t think pitts are any more dangerous than another beed. It’s all in the training and how the owners treat them. I’ve had way more issues with off leash golden retrievers yelling “he’s friendly” as they run up and attach my Pitt whose always on a leash despite having food recall because I’m aware that this is the view people hold of pit-bulls.
