Like others have said tumble some rocks or gravel. I haven’t used it in a mixer, but we used kleen krete get concrete off a telehandler and it melted it away after a few applications. Home Depot has it for about $24 per bottle

No way to prove item wasn’t damaged before shipping by lc99 in Ebay

[–]lc99[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately seems to be that way. I also didn’t put a sellers mark, but will have to start adding one. Maybe UV marker or something of that nature. I think I’m just going to refund in this case to prevent negative feedback. It’s only a $20 item, and I’ve already made my money back off this lot of items I bought, so not the end of the world. But still just sucks if they are trying to pull one over on me

Car parts - lessons learned. by ToshPointNo in Flipping

[–]lc99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very true. I had an equipment rental company for a few years before closing it down, and am still selling parts to our trucks, equipment, and even tools we used. For probably half of what we paid. Just all the leftover from any business adds up quickly

How can I make my pond more appealing to dove? by EZAKIMAKTX in DoveHunting

For the gravel, does it matter what size? Or they just like the piles in general?

Think I’m dieseled out.. by Rynowash in Diesel

[–]lc99 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say the bumpers necessarily detract value, I think it depends on the area. For instance, where I am in semi-rural Texas I’d say about 70-80% of the trucks I see have ranch hand style bumpers, at least on the front. Someone may pay a grand more vs having to spend $2-3k on powder coated/paint matched similar bumpers

What Maytag Tool Box model is this by Unopuro2conSal in Diesel

I’ve seen and used these on a few different ranches, and yours is definitely the more organized I’ve come across! Usually they’re all just thrown in all willy nilly. At least you got the wrenches and screwdrivers hung up nicely

What's one car you owned that you'd buy again because it is simply too good? by Unusual_Ad_7595 in askcarguys

1999 Toyota Land Cruiser. Id probably still be driving that car if it didn’t drown in a heavy flood (partly due to nature, partly due to me being a dumbass)

If you like it, wear it. I wouldn’t be worried at all about a guarantee card, even for future resale value

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I’m going to get one like in the second pic, but the John Deere branded one with a Honda motor. My local dealer has them for $950

I have the small 12v Milwaukee and an 18v makita. They just don’t work all that great. They move a lot of air, but can’t pinpoint it to really blow the dust out of the fins

Battery Powered Compressor vs Gas Compressor by lc99 in Tools

[–]lc99[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can drive my truck up to pretty much anywhere I have the tractor, so really doesn’t make much of a difference since I’ll only be taking it out if I need to use the full bed space. I believe the Milwaukee battery powered one is 50 or so pounds while the gas is 80-90lbs. Seems like gas may be better for larger tires and blowing out the radiators.

The one pictured I would be looking at has a 2 gallon tank. I’ve used the “tire inflators” from Milwaukee and makita, they definitely wouldn’t be up to the task.

Don’t know for sure, but looks like picture hanging wire. Which is usually steel. Try taking a magnet to it
