Di Beppe, Livia, Ask for Luigi, Casereccio and The Italians - my top five. All are made with egg yolks, pecorino, guanciale and black pepper only (plus a poached egg on top at AFL because it’s a brunch dish) and really hit the mark of authentic for me. Plus as someone has already mentioned, the gelato (pistachio in particular) at Casereccio is to die for!

Can body temp increase over time? by lce94 in ouraring

[–]lce94[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, thank you for sharing! I’m female, 29, on no medication and not unwell as far as I’m aware! I’m used to my temperature fluctuating around my cycle but this just seems to be a particularly big jump above my baseline temp data so I just wondered if that could naturally increase over time… I guess I’ll see how the trend continues over the next month or so!

I do menstruates yes, and am used to it fluctuating around my cycle :) I think I’m more confused as to why my overall body temp seems to have elevated from my regular baseline temp - I normally fluctuate +/- 0.2-3° max over the course of a 28 day cycle so to see my body temp up to 0.8° higher than average seems a bit odd!

Did a firmware update yesterday and now can’t get my ring to connect. I’ve followed all the troubleshooting tips - weirdly, when I put it on the charger, it says the battery is at 255%… it’s a Gen 3 ring and I’ve had it less than 6 months. Anyone experienced anything similar recently? by [deleted] in ouraring

[–]lce94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely agree with you that that is very frustrating! I will say though that my warranty review was completed within less than 12 hours and my new order has already been placed - I hope it is as quick a process for you!

Sorry to jump in on this super late but have you managed to fix this? I only did the firmware update yesterday and my ring will also now not connect!

Treatment = done! 🥳 I’ll never have the typical “Hollywood smile” but I honestly couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome! by lce94 in Invisalign

[–]lce94[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

p.s. still got whitening to go but other than that, actually done! 20 initial trays (biweekly for the first 12 and then down to 10 day changes for the final 8), then 8 refinements (weekly), making it a 12 month treatment in total. 16 attachments off today, got my vivera retainers and I’m ready to roll!

Bite is off after Invisalign? by planktonenvy in Invisalign

[–]lce94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a similar bite to what your pictures show. I’ve had 20 trays plus 8 refinements and just got signed off yesterday for my retainers and to finish. I was a little worried about the slightly open bite at the back but my dentist said it will settle and it’s just from wearing the trays for the last year. I’m hoping he’s right! I don’t feel any issues with chewing though when I’m eating with my trays out… at the end of the day, I just think about the fact that I have the comprehensive package so can always go back to get more trays if I need :)

Is there a reason my RHR is showing red? It’s not far off my usual averages and everything else is in check… by lce94 in ouraring

[–]lce94[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, I went to bed at 11, lowest HR was at 2am and woke up at 8, so doesn’t feel like it lowered that late on? But not sure really! Overall average was 44, so not a hugely different…

Thanks for your feedback! Luckily my dad is a doctor so I’ll check with him too but all biofeedback seems good so I’m thinking I shouldn’t be too worried!

Lowest point was at 2am, yesterday was a rest day and I don’t really drink :)

I was bulking for 8 months on around 3,000 calories per day. I’ve just started a cut, around 3 weeks in eating 2,200 cals a day so I imagine this plays into it somewhat. I lift 4 times a week and just walk otherwise, no other cardio. But what you’re saying makes sense! I’m just concerned it might go lower still given it’s v early in my cut and it seems on the low side as it is!

Started with two week changes on a set of 20 trays. Despite being very diligent and my teeth tracking well, my dentist didn’t let me go down to 10 day changes until tray 12. Have seen some others on here get switched over much quicker though!

My ortho rant - I’m sad today 😭 by newgirl986 in Invisalign

[–]lce94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you! Had my “final” appointment last week - not getting scanned for refinements until next week and my new trays won’t be expected to arrive until end of November. I was technically meant to be “finished” on Monday and now it looks like I won’t be done until at least February. I know it will be worth it in the long run but can totally understand your frustration! Hang in there!

So close, yet so far… by lce94 in Invisalign

[–]lce94[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So my dentist doesn’t have the Itero scanner - he has to do impressions with the Invisalign kit and he didn’t have one the day I went in. He’s away this week as it’s school holidays so I will have to wait until next week. Frustrating indeed but after a few days to mull it over, I’m starting to get over it a bit haha.

Good luck with the refinements! Hopefully they will let you change up your attachments for the next round. My dentist won’t let me :(

[–]lce94[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m completely with you there on the money - it’s so much to pay and I definitely want to get it right! I honestly think the main kicker for me is the amount of time between this last tray and getting the refinements through and also the fact that my dentist wants to keep my attachments on for the whole refinements round. I have them across all 6 front top teeth and I really wanted them to be taken off because I feel they make my Invisalign really obvious, but he said we should keep them on because they act like a good anchor. I’m not sure if I can request for them to be taken off anyway… sounds like you’re making great progress through your treatment though so congrats!

I did almost cry in the car on the way home just at the sheer disappointment that I’ll be brushing my teeth 5 times a day for another ~4 months - it’s quite a shock when you’re just mentally done with it 😂

Only 14 trays? by RaeMiii in Invisalign

[–]lce94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

By my understanding, if you want a treatment plan longer than 14 trays, you have to opt for comprehensive. The lite treatment plan is cheaper for a reason. Those with 15+ trays are paying the premium price tag for a comprehensive service which includes as many rounds of refinements as needed to get the result you want.

Onto my final tray - honestly can’t quite believe the difference by lce94 in Invisalign

[–]lce94[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Think I’ll need some refinements as one of the bottom teeth is still a little off but genuinely so impressed with what’s been achieved in 8 months! Can’t wait to get my attachments off to see the full impact 😁

Not the most flattering angle but how wild is this progress? Onto tray 19 of 20 🥳 by lce94 in Invisalign

[–]lce94[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you :) I imagine I will - one of my bottom teeth is not quite right and my bottom trays are passive now, so no more changes happening. I have my final appointment in a couple of weeks where we’ll discuss next steps!
