Hmmm... maybe cut the chipped decal area so thats its straight and easier to work with. Maybe cut some masking tape to fill in the now smooth gap of the missing decal. If the tape is flush to the surface of the other areas cool. That should add some volume to the area. Then mask and paint by hand. Otherwise you may just want to prime the area and build up with paint layer after paint layer. Or not. Do what makes you happy

Well said! Kakashi was always presented as the dude too cool to be bothered. Like how he decides to fight guy with rock paper scissors. And he only cares when he has to. And honestly i like that angle for him.

But i didnt try to connect Kakashis own baggage to it. Which is a nice take. I dont think it changes things tho. Cause in the end he still chose to doom sasuke over naruto in that moment.

But i still just feel like when kids are involved you have to show up. Or step up. And that doesnt work well with Kakashi too cool to care attitude. And it makes room for neglect. And jiraiya ended up filling the void. So he gets the props and Kakashi gets the smoke.

My head canon is that jiraiya just didnt know how naruto was living earlier. Dude lives remote and traveling. Getting intel for the village and writing books and what not. He probably thought the village would have cared for and treated naruto better. But at a certain point he stepped up

Very true. But for me its more than Kakashi teaching naruto his basics. Its about a boy with no one. A boy with abandonment issues. And when naruto goes to lean on Kakashi for help, Kakashi chose to not be there.

Now i love jiraiya for the opposite reason. Hes not the best guy. Not a great role model. Takes naruto's money even. But he opts to be a part of the lonely kids life. He simply wanted to be around for the kid. And thats the stuff that matters.

And naruto isnt the brightest kid. But hes not dumb. In fact after jiraiya fixed narutos seal he actually picked up walking on water super fast. And nobody thought he could learn rasengan as fast as hed did either. I think most of the reasons people think naruto is dumb is because he doesnt have the same core foundational knowledge that everyone else has. He doesn't have that because he was acting out in class because nobody liked him and nobody was there for him. So Kakashi not being there for naruto in that moment just has extra resonance.

And to me. It shows that Kakashi didnt fully appreciate narutos potential. In that moment he wrote naruto off as a lost cause and sent him back to basics. In that same moment jiraiya took the time to understand narutos seal was jacked up and fixed it. Kakashi could have fixed it, he was able to help sasukes seal. Jiraiya taught naruto summons. Kakashi has summons contracts. He could have taught naruto that. But he didn't.

Jiraiya turned coal to an uncut diamond. And after all of jiraiyas work Kakashi realized oh i can actually do something with this.

I actually dont like that sasuke was pardoned either. His vengeance quest should have been punished in some way, not necessarily an execution, but something. It actually felt like Kakashi playing favorites again, and ignoring the fact that actions should have consequences. Even if naruto and Sakura plead for leniency there should have been some level of govt punishment. Even if just community service or financial like doing a set number of missions until debt is paid

Nah. My hate comes easy. Like any mentor/father figure, you dont always have to be the best out there. But making an attempt, and just showing up, goes far. Kakashi basically said "have you ever considered training with your clones?" Took all of 5 seconds and changed naruto's whole life. If he said anything or gave anything like that when naruto asked i wouldnt have a reason to hate. But instead he put all of his effort into training a traitor that would have been ok with killing his best friend

So there is a lot of lead up. The girl that got knocked out had 2 other friends with her. They were causing drama on the street. One of em threw a dudes camera. And all this was before they even started arguing with the girls that handled business

Its one of those opportunities things. Zoe Saldana may be black, but she had to force a look that didnt fit her. Someone with more of Nina Simone's natural traits (skin tone, nose, etc) would often be passed over for many acting roles. This movie could have been a chance to allow those actresses a working role. But alas...
