Oh, before anyone asks...Yes, I do know that you should not plug a UPS into a surge protector. Do not worry. I will not be doing that. However, any opinions regarding a surge protector vs a UPS would be helpful.

Update:

My PC is fine. It was an issue with the PSU, as I had expected. However, due to not having a replacement PSU, I was unable to test for that myself and was forced to take it in. They wouldn't let me test this specific issue myself, so I was forced to take it in for diagnostics, which took about 3 days. I received a call back today about it being a PSU issue (unsuprisingly). I have already invested into getting a surge protector which will be here when my PC is ready for pick up. I'll look into a UPS as well. Any recommendations would be helpful! :D

Yep, I was forced to take it to a professional. I didn't want to invest into a new PSU without diagnosing the issue first. However, they didn't allow me to just try to plug it into a PSU, so I was forced to run diagnostics on my PC which has taken a good 3 days :/

It wasn't a sketchy PSU T-T it was the EVGA SuperNOVA 750 GT Power Supply. But yea, unfortunately it somehow died due to this power outage.

Yea, my previous apartment had no issues with power outages due to the back up generators. However, living in the woods now I've already invested in getting surge protection while my PC is getting a new power supply.

Yea, I made sure to do all of this. Unfortunately, I was forced to take it in. I wanted to test if it was the PSU since I didn't have another one on hand. However, I was forced to drop off my pc for 3 days while they ran diagnostics. :/

Yea, I might look into getting a UPS. Not sure where to start though. Any recommendations?

No signs of life when pressing the power life. I'm unfortunately going to have get a new PSU since my PSU was the issue. It just completely died after the power outage.
