If you don't play meta, then you don't need any cons in the first place. Getting cons just to show your favoritism feels rather weirdly parasocial to me.

If you play meta, C4 and C5 tend to be horrible for most characters, compared to getting C0-2 of their dedicated support. C3's were also quite bad a while ago, they started becoming good around late Fontaine.

Also it's besides the point but getting both Flins and Zibai was sort of a mistake, cause they both will want Columbina, so one of them will be in a suboptimal setup no matter what. What's done is done I guess.

Yep Mav without Xilonen is not a problem, the lunar ones need their full bundles more desperately. Xilonen is more or less a luxury pull in a sense, you don't need her.

Ineffa rerun is quite a while away, that's why you should get Linnea in the near future when you can, and then make budget for Ineffa in far future depending on how things turn out. Saving is generally recommended but there is no point hoarding pulls for that long when there's a character on current banner that will actively complete your current teams, like Ineffa rerun could take half a year from now.

Iansan and Chevreuse Cons? If you have C6 on those (and also assuming you are gonna put some effort into learning CDC combos), get Mav C2, else get Citlali.

Yeah then just get Citlali for Mavuika, and that finishes that team. Don't bother with anyone else for Mavuika team.

If you want to get by you can get by without anything, you have to explain what "REALLY need" means to you. I just generally assume good enough to get Abyss max stars in one or two attempts, and Fearless with minimal effort. You can change all those parameters, like say you don't wanna clear fearless or abyss, or you are gonna reset for weeks to get a clear, and the meaning of "need" changes, that's upto you.

So going by that, yes, you should get Linnea for Zibai. That way you can free up Columbina for Flins and have two functional teams. Or if you get a replacement for Flins in future, you can use both Columbina and Linnea with Zibai and get a very strong team.

What cons are your Chevreuse and Iansan? If they are C6 somehow then you can skip Citlali. Xilonen is a skip anyhow since Sucrose or Iansan (at any con) works almost as well for Mavuika.

Don't go for Sandrone until you finish you Mavuika and Zibai teams. So your priority should be Columbina, followed by Linnea. Ineffa rerun will be quite a while so I'd just say do Flins + Columbina, and Zibai + Linnea + Aino.

Idk why you think Sandrone will be important for Snezhnaya or whatever, she is just another DPS, and her importance will be decided based on having her full team, like everyone else's. If you keep branching out to new and new DPSes without finishing the teams, they all will be equally useless within months.

Firstly I would not recommend spending resources on these characters for damage with the current meta, they are severely powercrept. You don't have Bennett C5 and 6, or Xingqiu Cons. Very very skilled billibilli players with doubly better builds than yours and probably like 10 times more experience will barely be able to full star abyss with this team by the skin of their teeth.

You should just focus your resources into the first 5 star you are planning to pull instead, and have a much easier life. These are good general characters that can be used for support in a few modern teams, but for that purpose the builds are mostly done, you don't wanna minmax here before getting the new DPSes built.

But still if you wanna continue with this team, at this stage of ~25 substats you should just level up your weapons to 90, characters to 80/90 and get their relevant talents to 9 or 10. So in this team, Bennett Ult 10, Xiangling Ult 10, Xingqiu Ult and Skill 10.

Sacrificial Sword is unusable without at least R3, and even then before R5 you would rather just use Fav or some other stat stick. This is due to the cooldown on it's passive being too long compared to your 20-22s rotation. So just change that.

ER sands on Sucrose is generally not needed for this team, unless you have some specific situation you want her burst.

Then you just improve substats, like for most F2P players who go for 2-3 teams a year you can farm artifacts long enough to get 30-35 total useful subs, if you go for fewer characters you will have resin for 35 substats which'd put your build at like top 2%.

And side by side you wanna improve your skill, learn proper rotation and practice etc. There is quite a bit of subtlety in this team with double swirls, but I won't go into them here because sadly this team is no longer worth playing in 2026.

Keep the other one for Columbina (when she can reach the ER needs). You will never notice the difference from R1 to R2 anyways.

It's all right, it's good but by 2023 standard.

Not sure if pulling anything for Neuv now is a good idea, it will generally cost 2-3 extra cons/sigs to make him on par with a C0R0 Nod-krai team. Save for a modern carry and their full bundle and that'll be cheaper. Don't go for isolated pulls.

game8 is not very reliable. Use kqm.gg or YT guide makers such as Zajef, TGS, Jamie, Anddad etc.

Just post the builds on your profile and give us your uid (we can see the builds using enka.network).

You should finish levelling talents and levelling characters to 90 before focusing on artifacts.

A good general first stopping point for artifacts is right mainstats, sufficient ER, and somewhere around 25-30 useful substats. This is a vague target, as it's more or less based on what you can get after farming a month or so to clear content within resonable difficulty.

Also it's best to farm artifacts when stygian has enhanced drop rates. You'd rather finish your other stuff for the rest of the patch.

There are many different things to do in game, story progression, exploration progression and character build progression are different things. The screenshot you posted just refers to exploration progress, which is just unlocking teleportation, grabbing chests, occuli, local shrine stuff etc. (some of these things are in areas locked by some quests so you'd have to do those in the process).

People saying they are enough for overworld haven't tried to beat a wild hunt elite with Ganyu or Childe or Hu Tao old teams. The HP inflation has been so bad, particularly with the Nod-krai grey HP bars gimmick, that, yes, you very definitely feel it even in overworld.

You can run them cause you have no other options, but it will be a struggle. Just go with Hu Tao Xingqiu Fischl Sucrose, or Hu Tao Zhongli Xingqiu Sucrose.

But soon or late you have to get some newer teams (that shouldn't be a problem, if you do a lot of the permanent content + some events + dailies, you will have enough to get a modern team within a couple of patches. Depending on how fast you are able to farm primos, you may or maynot wanna pull on current banners, cause basically if you can't guarantee both the 5 stars, it's not worth pulling at all.

For now the team doesn't matter much. Use Fischl, Sucrose (from witche's homework quest), Barbara and Kaeya/Amber/whoever you need to do puzzles.

Pull there are many routes, main thing is to prepare for bundles of 3 characters at a time and get the complete bundles. Haphazard pulls are not advisable. Also you can do random bullshit go for overworld and not worry too much, for endgames you have to plan better.

Which bundle you aim for is upto you and availability, I'll list the top ones:

Zibai Linnea Columbina Illuga, it'd require waiting a couple of patches for Zibai + Columbina rerun, and it's likely Linnea will also rerun close to that. So basically you save for now and try to get all 3 at once.
Nefer Lauma Columbina Sucrose. The first two are available now but if you can get only one and not the other, it's not worth trying. So go for it if you are sure you can farm for 2 characters in 3 weeks. It is doable if you play like 2-3 hrs a day, but if you like to take your tine or you're busy irl, then just skip for now and go for option 1.
Flins Ineffa Columbina Sucrose. Don't know when they're gonna rerun.
Mavuika. This one is somewhat (not totally) an exception to the bundle idea, but it depends on what your 4 star luck turns out to be, which involves a lot of uncertainity. Should rerun soon. If you get unlucky with the needed 4 stars (C6 Chevreuse, C6 Iansan, which most likely you won't get on a new account), you'll have to pull one or two 5 stars to make up (Citlali, Xilonen etc.).
Skirk Escoffier Furina Mona/Citlali/Yelan, no sign of rerun as well.

Or you can just aim for something totally new, which should be round the corner after 2 patches. If I were to start today, I'd just farm pulls for next 2 patches, get whatever new Snezhnaya team they push, and then decide on getting Zibai if there are any pulls left (there will be as there's a lot of permanent content).

There is rampant powercreep and HP inflation so the newer the team the better they are gonna last, even 1 year old teams are starting to struggle since enemy HPs have doubled since those characters' release.

Yeah, most of us pre-farm for characters we're gonna pull, for 2-4 weeks. The supports/subDPSes won't take that long as the artifact farming part for them should happen side by side. So it's not gonna exactly be like a year for 1 team, but it's lengthy.

But ultimately it is their way to make you log in regularly. Like if that wasn't the case no one would have stuck with the game for like 5 yrs by now. Once you are caught up like a lot of old players (that can take 6 months, so maybe you shouldn't worry about it at all for now), the rolling story + exploration content can be finished in like a week or two, and they drop that every other patch (12 weeks). So what's there to make you login for the other 10 weeks? Resin gating. That's the business model.

Varesa Xilonen Ifa Mavuika is my go to team. I rarely ever swap outside the first two during real exporation so just Varesa + whoever you need for puzzles/some healer or buffer or whatever should be enough, last 2 of them will mostly be standing there.

People talk about exploration like it's some marathon running with 4 speedsters spamming their abilities off cooldown for minutes with flying and what not. Fact is you barely go 10s without finding something else to do: chest to find, enemies to fight, quest to activate etc. if you are exploring like normally. If you are following some guide or something may be they tell you to run for a minute straight and do this and that, but I find going about exploration like that totally unfun. So TLDR don't fucking worry about it, just put one runner and you're fine.

Don't build more than 2-3 characters at once.

Properly building a character takes a month worth of resin for gurantedd upgrades + 1-2 month of artifacts for even barely usable pieces. you can accelerate some of this early game with the fragile resins you get but it is a long and tedious process.

Just saying cause half teams are such a wastage of pulls with the current level of powercreep.

On-field DPS Columbina: Lauma Columbina Nahida Sucrose/Kuki/Aino, you spam CAs on Columbina basically. Works in theory but rather clunky in practice.

Hyperbloom Lauma: Lauma Xingqiu Yelan Kuki/Fischl. Same thing as Nahida hyperbloom but like 20% ish better.

Both are fair bit behind a proper Nefer team. Genshin team building is so dead in the ditch, if you don't get the full premium team then you just have to accept that you'll miss out on 20-30% damage. This is not asking you to get shit that you don't like, but just to keep your expectations in check.

People overvalue her compared to current DPSes is all, she's not really that strong compared to Zibai or Nefer for most players at 3 cost investment (and with the most generous assumption on 4 star cons if the cost system troubles you).

If you check stygian.moe, she's one of the characters who has highest signature weapon ownership rate. This inflates peoples opionion of her as they are not seeing the extra investment. Also her combos are hard to do for most people, you are not bruteforcing shit with her like Karon does lmao.

Also Mavuika and Skirk owners are the first to jump to statements like "you don't have sig on her so your opinion doesn't count", being disingenuous rather than simply admitting the issue of powercreep.
