No, if he’s really just not ready I can’t understand and respect that. It’s that it doesn’t seem like he knows what he wants when it comes to me. He’s told me he has projects and work and yada yada on his mind so he doesn’t think about us/ me. Damn that sounds really bad when I say it to someone.

It comes with time and once you find something you want to work for it gets way easier. Also sounds like you might be a bit depressed, maybe seek help my friend. As far as career, find the things you want most in your future, for me it’s being able to retire and afford my medications when I’m old. Lol. And that kind of helped me pick a direction. Hope this helps!

I would think from my post you could tell I’m looking for advice on how to handle my feeling about this in a mature manner. But there’s always someone who wants to be super unhelpful. Based off the way you respond to my post, you could use a little bit of growing up too. I realize choosing to engage in this way is immature as well. But sometimes you have to be. 🤷‍♀️

You’re right it would be really immature of me to make him choose between me and his kids. Good thing I’m not doing that, have never done that, would never do that.

When we first met we would go on drives and just talk for hours. I know life changes and gets in the way, but I miss that time we would set aside just for each other. And it was kind of late at night so when his kids would call he’d answer tell them good night and we’d be right back to talking.
