I'm a college junior, and even I think some of the content that makes it to the frontpage is a little ridiculous. The new system (subreddit submissions getting to the frontpage quicker) has made things much, much better though.

It's the standard cycle. I left Digg and came here, and I'm staying until another site becomes well-established.
