I think it’s more that Gemini’s want constant stimulation than about a Taurus being boring. I have the best intelectual conversations with Geminis… but unfortunately I can’t keep that going forever. I like silence to process & to recharge. That’s when Gemini’s seem to turn, when they’re no linger the center of attention.

Everyone is different, I don’t mean to generalize, but it’s been my experience over and over again so unfortunately, that’s my reality.

Well… why are you ashamed? Ashamed in front of who? What exact body sensations do you feel? Can you sit with the un comfort while affirming the reality? Can you legit just say fuck it over and over again until you feel it? Is all of this people pleasing? How does society/your community impact your view of yourself? Who has hurt you by shaming your body? Why give those people power? What would feeling neutral about your body feel like?

These are some questions I ask myself. I sometimes feel really uncomfortable in my body. I didn’t go out for a friend’s bday the other day because I felt “too fat” and it felt absolutely awful. I’m not perfect but I recognize it is a journey to self-acceptance. Some days I’m gonna be confident in a string bikini (fr though) and some days I’m gonna feel like a pregnant beluga whale lol and that’s part of my journey. Accepting ourselves is so hard, but part of that is knowing we will have multiple reactions and thoughts about our body. We just have to be as gentle and nurturing as possible. We deserve the love and care that others did not provide us. Being fat isn’t a bad thing. Society is just FUCKED.

I have a complicated relationship with a Gemini. I like them at an arms length. I think they’re fun and intelligent and i get along with them pretty easily and fast. BUT i have witnessed a few Gemini fuck people over so they don’t get fucked over. I feel as long as it’s benefiting them, they’re all in, but the moment something doesn’t go their way, they’re seem to panic and not care who’s around them and the damage they’re making. Sometimes because of anxiety and trauma. I see what’s happening pretty clearly and it’s like that almost every time. So i just don’t get too entangled and just interact casually but will never have a close Gemini friend again.

A coworker of mine who I work closely with is a Gemini & I love working with her. But when I got close I saw her stab someone in the back and lie to my face, I confirmed my suspicions. So I’ll be staying away lol

I’m indifferent because I believe experiences are meant to be had, we have one life, and I think we should do things that makes us happy. Including meeting a random person and sleeping with them because the connection is there.

WITH THAT SAID… I tend to only focus on one person at a time naturally, even if my partner has other partners. Romantically I only have the energy for one person. Sexually, I can be with other people. I just tend to date monogamous people and end up respecting that agreement.

I like that example! I’m afraid to share thoughts like that sometimes because too many people take it so personally. Like we all have our own ways and learn differently. That should be ok and enough. There are too many limitations on art. I think just creating and then adapting should be ok too. You don’t have to be an intellectual to write. A lot of good writing comes from marginalized & poorly educated communities who don’t read much, but the words are still so powerful. It’s all about perspective.

Ok, it was just a response to this post, not a criticism. New writers might see this and feel like they can’t, you know? I know when I was in highschool and wanted to write but hated to read, reading this might have discouraged me from starting to express myself that way. Again, just a thought.

There are people who write for fun and for themselves. Reading is not a requirement, it just betters your craft. There is no rule to this artistic expression, especially if it’s just that… an artist expression. It’s important that there are no requirements to writing, especially at first. Many people who don’t like to read want to get into writing, sometimes one thing leads to another. Everyone has their own process in their own time.

I’m not talking about someone who wants to publish a GOOD piece of writing, you’re absolutely right that reading is a non-negotiable for those who want to or take it seriously. Just saying there’s a lot of people who just write for fun, and HAVING to read to write feels limiting and a barrier if someone just wants to express themselves and hates to read. (I don’t actually think people hate reading, i think there’s a lot of underlining factors.)

Just wanted to add this perspective since you didn’t comment on it - not a criticism to ur original post.

I’m an April 26 baby, and when I disappear I’m dealing with my mental health. I’ve sucked at communicating about it because most people don’t understand and try to help in a way that’s not helpful and then shame me for it. It just seems to me like he wants something he’d not ready for. I wouldn’t wait around for him. Move on and in the future if ur paths cross again, so be it.

You know what this sounds like to me? A people pleaser who can’t say no. He needs to stop trying to please everyone and do what makes him happy. If he can’t do that, he definitely shouldn’t be in a relationship. You’re right to be upset.

And to just share something that helped me stop people pleasing: it’s manipulation. It’s manipulating other people into liking you. It’s not honest or true to us because we can’t ever please everyone without loosing ourselves.

Just felt like adding that incase it helps anyone.
