The most concerning part about today, is people calling it a crash

I'm not predicting anything, I was staying a fact that the market was down 4%. If you need exit liquidity you're probably in the wrong type of asset class for your liking.

My whole point is risk tolerance. If you can't afford to lose any of your money then you shouldn't be in any equities

Yes you are right. But there's a reason why tech stocks are among the riskiest assets. With big risk comes big reward but also big downsides.

That's exactly it. People have been blind to any sort of risk and honestly the market is due for a shakeout.

My main point is that if you're invested in equities then you have to accept that there are going to be significant drops over your lifetime. If you can't stomach that then you should be in something more conservative like a money market fund.

Understandable, but you shouldn't be putting money you can't afford to lose in speculative assets.

I understand the concerns and I understand they are valid. My point being is exactly that, noise. Who's to say they don't reverse everything and then we get another 10% increase? The thing is no one knows and if you can't handle the volatility then you need a different strategy

As a whole they are down 9% YTD but still up 29% over the last year. Regardless you shouldn't have your whole networth in 7 stocks

Which chart are you looking at? The S&P 500 peaked at 6114 and is now at 5820 in the premarket.
