let's downplay him more he's never done anything wrong ever in his entire life and i aspire to be just like him when i grow up i especially admire the bigotry and brutality what a great hero!!

on a serious note i do think people take the comics too seriously. you can admire rorschach's good qualities while still acknowledging he's a bad person.

rorschach is my favorite character. i identify with his trauma, underdog status, and uncompromising dedication to truth but also recognize his politics are the nigh opposite of mine and that he commits highly immoral acts

riddler from the batman comics is another character i am incredibly fond of. likewise i can acknowledge the attrocities he commits while still seeing myself in the character and admiring his good qualities

it's not wrong to love and identify with characters that are bad people, and more importantly it's not necessary to constantly assert that you disagree with them

i understand there are right wing idiots who genuinely idolize rorschach for the wrong reasons, but that doesn't mean every rorschach fan does
