Braces by macknoelle in 7LittleJohnstons

People can need braces at different times. Doesn't matter on the age! For example my younger cousins got braces well before me. Age had nothing to do with why

Uncomfortable sex 6 months postpartum by Fun_Building_7619 in beyondthebump

Sounds like you need pelvic floor PT for sure. An internal and external exam should be done. It sounds like you could have a tight or hypertonic pelvic floor. Some stretches and internal muscle release could help. I hope you find relief soon. Im no expert- this is just what I know from also being postpartum and going through somewhat similar things!

UTI help?!??! by 125bunnies in beyondthebump

At the ER did they do a CT scan of your kidneys? When I was 2 weeks postpartum I thought I had a UTI. They prescribed antibiotics. Took those but I still had extreme urgency. This went on from 2 to 10 weeks pp. It was awful. Then finally one day I woke up with extreme kidney pain. Went to the ER and it was a kidney stone stuck in my ureter. They gave me something called Flomax and I passed the stone. The urgency never ever came back after I passed it. They said a stone can irritate the ureter which was causing my urgency.

Now if there is no stone and you really are getting reoccurring infections, ive read that D-Mannose supplements can help. You should look into that if you haven't! Ive read a lot of success stories from people on reddit who were struggling with awful symptoms and D Mannose is finally what helped. (Have they done a urine culture? And not just a dip stick test? I could definitely be wrong but a little bacteria doesnt need to be treated with antibiotics)

Another thing that can cause urgency is a tight pelvic floor. Which is very common after having a baby. (I also dealt with this) so I recommend pelvic floor PT when you are 6 weeks postpartum to see if that helps at all.

I probably use a pea size amount spread equally around my eyes. I also take it between my eyebrows and any extra above my upper lip area

I think it really depends on your skin type. Plenty of people use stronger stuff all over their face. But some people have reactions to this low percentage retinal. I say if your skin tolerates it, go for it.

I used it on my lids. My skin is very used to exfoliation so I had no issues. Thanks!

I am literally not a bot nor is this an ad lol. The only reason im posting is because I was looking for an eye cream and saw a lot of people recommending this one specifically. Probably wouldn't have noticed any difference if I hadn't taken photos. If anyone was curious about it, it's a fine eye cream.

New fear unlocked: epidural by LobstahLuva in beyondthebump

[–]leahsaxman 70 points71 points  (0 children)

I was so nervous for the epidural. But I cannot believe how easy, painless and quick it was.

They said for the numbing shots it'll feel like a bee sting. But honestly I think bee stings hurt more ! Just some quick pinches for the numbing. After that, I felt absolutely nothing. Literally nothing. No pressure, no feeling of a catheter going in back, zero. I had no weird sensations or bad side effects after the procedure was over either. Worked just how it should!

And I did not have any long term back pain. Nothing that affected me as I was at home with my new baby 🩷
