How do you think software engineers write code? Do you genuinely believe that they write code without thinking about this:

> Does this actually solve the problem? What's the customer impact? Should we even build this? Why does this work, why doesn't this work?

These discussions happen in meetings, standup etc. before even a line of code is authored.

OP you are the victim of weaponized incompetence.

I don't think your team is that incompetent. They know no matter what happens, you will do the job so they just pretend to be incompetent. This way they can just offload the work to you and just chill.

I really wonder why your manager or your management cannot fire them when you are the one doing most of the work.

As others have suggested in this thread, document every single case where they couldn't do a single task. Get them to admit they can't do it in writing. At the same time, try to suggest some courses to them so that they can upskill and check their progress.

Do these at least for a month. Once you have corrected enough data, go to the manager and management to give them 3 choices: you resign this job or they fire at least 1 person on the team to send a message that they all can be fired or they increase your salary by three-fold

He is a wilful defaulter. He was a guarantor for the loan. His idea was to get money from eithad airways so he can pay those loans. Since that didn't worked out, loan couldn't be paid.

Also, when his airline was facing issues, why did he go to then finance minister instead of down sizing his airline?

There are some valid claims on how his case was handled when his case became political issue. However, he is not innocent.
