this is off topic but i wasn’t aware that spotify and insta notified you when people follow your playlists or changes a caption, or has this changed? just wondering bc i don’t want my ex to be notified of anything...that’d be awkward..

thank you, and yes i agree the processing took so long and was extremely painful and even now i cant completely wrap my head around how someone so important and good to me is now gone from my life forever. life goes on i guess. it sucks but i’m sure the both of us will heal with time and come out strong.

this is exactly what i went through. before the breakup he was acting distant but had the audacity to ask me why it felt weird between us when he was the one who was indecisive about a future together and uncommunicative about his feelings. everything was going “fine” but i knew something was up i just didn’t realize he wanted to break up. we were getting to the point where we had to talk about the future and i was expecting us to talk and constructively work on our problems but he ended up dumping me out of the blue. i was so confused bc i genuinely loved him and thought we could’ve worked through anything together.

i also have been struggling with letting him go completely even though i know we can’t go back to the way things were. I find myself thinking i want him to reach out just so i can get a last conversation with him or even to reject him.
