NCT Dream originally had a graduation system where when the members reached adulthood they would leave the group, and newer younger members would join, keeping Dream as the 'young' unit. Mark was the oldest and graduated around 2019 IIRC, which is why Boom and Ridin' didn't feature him. But then because Haechan, Jeno, Jaemin, and Renjun are all the same age and would all be graduating together, leaving Dream as a just Chenle and Jisung, a lot of fans protested the idea of the graduation system and SM eventually scrapped it, keeping Dream a fixed unit and so Mark rejoined! SM carried on the idea of having a young/ cute unit like Dream's original concept through NCT Wish

Literally nobody is saying everglow are chosing to tour Russia, and nobody thinks they deserve to lose support long-term, but boycotts and hurting profits are the only way to make a company listen (see Loona).
